Great Location

Centrally located. Everywhere you’d like to walk to is on avg 20min. Metro, tram close by. Central Train station is about a 20min walk w/out luggage.
Staff is extremely kind and helpful. Great value. Rooms are cozy and modern.

Best hotel in Amsterdam

Stayed here for 2 nights with my family and was not disappointed. The staff and hotel itself are spotless and very helpful.
The room was huge and I would definitely be requesting this room again should I return. This would be my first choice to stay in Amsterdam as after 10 years of travelling here this is by far the best place I have stayed. The reception has complimentary lemon water and jars of sweets to help yourself.
There are umbrellas available for rent, which was needed as the weather is only good for ducks .
Marc on reception was so informative and pleasant.
We have had a very good stay and are grateful to have found this place

Our first floor “premium” room was nothing like the photos—black walls, dim lighting and ugly gray wallpaper. But it was roomy, the bed was comfortable and the shower was great. I personally didn’t like the design aesthetic with the dark hallways and dirty-looking splotchy hall carpeting—it felt depressing. I also was not impressed with the front entrance, as we had to step over a man begging for change every day right outside the front doors, sticking his legs straight out into the cigarette butt-strewn walkway. I did love most of Amsterdam’s vibe of tolerance and acceptance but I hope you redecorate soon.

Good hotel terrible soundproofing

The hotel has a good location and very decent rooms, but it has a serious soundproofing problem. Upon arrival, they assigned me a room that was insufferable, with noise from the adjacent entertainment venues (117); I requested a change and they assigned me another one that also made it difficult to be in it due to the amount of noise. The night became unbearable. I requested another change, but all the available ones faced the same street, full of entertainment venues. In a hotel of this category, soundproofing of the rooms is an absolute minimum, especially when they are in a central area. That makes it lose category and quality.
