The hotel was clean and the central AC was awesome! I was able to get a person while doing my check in but not always is someone there. Overall it is a good hotel and very close to the train station so convenient for traveling.

Super comfy bed — especially for the price! — and cute decor. Staff were lovely when they were around. Check-in is via screen in the lobby and staff are available only by phone after normal business hours. There’s a little convenience store with some essentials but they were out of toothbrushes and toothpaste.
My group booked 2 rooms. Both were clean but one didn’t have a bolt on the door (literally just a hole in the side of the door where the bolt should be). In that same room, the coffee machine didn’t work and a lamp was broken. Not sure why they put guests in there when so many things don’t work! Perhaps they would have moved us if we’d figured it out earlier, but it was quite late by the time we got back to the hotel and figured all of this out so we just went to sleep. Still, I slept well because the bed was comfy and the room was very dark and cool.
Overall I’d stay again, but would check all the essentials before going out for dinner!

Multiple defects in room

Weird experience: I got a bag of dirty towels left in my room, had hairs and mold in the shower upon arriving, holes in the bedcovers, dead insects left on the wall & shower and the doorlock was broken. The coffee machine was also very dirty, even after rinsing 3 times. The rooms are spacious enough but still rather small for the price, especially seeing as there’s no divide for the bathroom. The self check-in/-out did not work on both occasions, but here I was helped by the staff who are genuinely nice but all seemed students wherefore they couldn’t inform me to the defects of my room. The breakfast was good, but I would not call it “superb” as it is rated online. It must be stated that my colleagues staying at the same time had a better experience, but these were just too many instances for me to write a good review.

I have never left a hotel review, but I wish someone had told me what to expect with this hotel. First, there is no one to check you in; you use a touch screen and have to fill out information you already provided during the reservation process. I also had to call them for a booking number, because it didn't match the one from hotels.com. The inside is cheap, sparse (not in a good way) and my room was dusty. The check-out for the self-service market for water, etc. was broken the whole time we stayed there and they wouldn't allow you to charge to your room. The elevator went out the morning we left, and we had to carry our very heavy gear down multiple flights of stairs. Basically, if this is a cheap option for you, great, but you will have no help during your stay, other than someone on the phone telling you they can't help. Right next door is a much nicer hotel for not that much more.

Hotel is lovely. Rooms spacious, quiet with safe and fridge. Staff incredibly helpful especially with checkin (terminal in reception which we had to use didn’t accept any booking references we held and others struggled to check in electronically as well)
