Nice hotel with pool

Nice hotel, next door to Madurodam. Tram stop to both town and beach outside. Easy with the hotel's own parking
Nice design and history around the hotel. Nothing to complain about, lacked a toilet brush to the toilet and a bit dusty in the room. But nothing that was directly disturbing
Nice staff, great to be able to contact them via WhatsApp.

Anniversary ❤️

Lovely hotel... Hard to find the entrance at night in the dark. Nice that we got an upgrade, great sleep, good breakfast, beautiful lobby with super nice service in the bar...
But 1 minus, when we left, with four of us, we walked past the reception, where 3 ladies stood, we greet all 4, but there was no response.... Even when I repeated another x...the ladies were too busy with each other.... Too bad really not neat...

Brilliant family holiday

Great location tram very short walk easy access to beach or city staff are ALL so friendly from the moment you arrive restaurant staff also go out of there way to assist and no issues speaking English rooms extremely spacious and clean we had inter connecting rooms which when I was booking the staff were very helpful to organise bike hire in hotel and everything was no problem to staff

Insufficient

Upon arrival, we were checked in by a rather reserved young lady.
Your colleague at the reception and the staff the next day were very friendly.
Throughout the hotel, there is occasionally a very unpleasant smell of sewage. Fortunately, not in our room.
No water in the room. There was also no body lotion and no other amenities in the bathroom. Additionally, our bathroom was poorly lit.
Very clean room.
We found the breakfast to be unremarkable. Scrambled eggs from the "bucket," as is unfortunately common in hotels nowadays. Our request for a fried egg or omelet was declined.
Although we were very early for breakfast and there was hardly anyone else, the staff did not manage to clear our used plates in between, so we had to stack them on the neighboring table, which was also ignored.
At check-in, we were asked if we wanted to pay directly or before departure. I chose the latter. At 7:48 PM, while we were just in the city at a restaurant, the hotel tried to charge my credit card. When I inquired, I was told that the colleague at check-in was new and did not know that payment must always be made in advance. Very strange.
There are many charging spots for electric cars, which, however, are largely occupied by non-charging vehicles.
We were not charged anything for parking.
There are definitely hotels closer to the center in The Hague.

Impersonal and boring business hotel

Impersonal and a bit boring business hotel. There is no interest shown in the guests. Closet door in the room is not set properly so the light stays on. No maintenance present and then asked for a screwdriver myself. Air conditioning in the room did not work properly, but the restaurant was freezing cold with all doors open while it was 32 degrees outside. Ordered two drinks, asked for a glass of water. You get an unsolicited carafe of water that is secretly put on the bill for 4 euros. Upon check-out, you will be charged an additional city tax while the room rates are listed on the website as “taxes and fees included”. All this reported to the reception: “Sorry, I’m noting it”. No further action or compensation. Advice to the staff: take better care of your guests, welcome them and show genuine interest. It takes no effort to say “Welcome, have a good trip?” instead of “Room 419!”.
