Nice hotel in Gangnam area

Compact room. Well lit. Shampoo, conditioner, body detail, body lotion. Shower, cap, comb, Q-tips, toothbrush, toothpaste. Shower only. Annoying entryway, automatic, light, iron and board mini fridge teapot. In room safe. Robes and slippers. small fitness room one recumbent bike, one elliptical, three treadmills, weight machines all work, but squeak and not optimally smooth. Even numbered rooms face away from main road only rare outside noise. Also some corridor; minimal room to room noise. AC moderate effective gets there but can take awhile.

The location is amazing and the property is kept clean, the rooms are great for business travelers. The staff were quite unhelpful unfortunately. To be fair, perhaps it was a language barrier - they were generally very nice but no one helped me with my luggage during check in or check out. When I requested help to bring my luggage from the room to the reception, I was told to do it myself. (I was traveling alone with theee very heavy bags.) When I asked for help to find vegetarian food options in the area, the staff just said “they didn’t know.” Given this is considered a premium property group in Korea, I was disappointed but I would still stay here again.

This location is closer to business center however if you’re interested in tour of COEX or Gangnam area, Shilla stay at COEX might be a better option with closer access to subway and bus stations.

Way too expensive for what is on offer. Breakfast ends at 9:30am. This should be made clear before booking in hotels.com. For >£240/night I wouldn’t stay here again. Ac noisy and couldn’t be fixed. Staff were friendly.
