The hotel bar was great. The shower and water pressure were the best in Alaska. Absolutely charming hotel near the airport and aviation museum.

Basic accommodation near the airport.

Basic accommodation near the airport, but the noise level is okay. Bathroom renovated and equipped sustainably. However, there is no response to emails/requests.

Been a few years since staying there. Rooms have been refurbished and nice. Bathroom smelled stinky/ musty and shower drain was almost plugged. Staff nice and food was good. Expensive one night stay in september for a room that was not that impressive.

Had a suite room that was very large and just what our group of 4 adults needed for a one night stay. Bathroom updated and spacious with VERY HOT water. Not a complaint! It was much needed after our barely warm cruise showers. Restaurant on site had decent menu, good food, decent service & prices. Early AM shuttle to airport was timely and seamless. Heads up: there is only-stairs-access to 2nd floor rooms; not a probem for my group, but do communicate your needs ahead of time if you have mobility issues.

Fine location. Very friendly clerks. Rooms so-so at best.

We stayed here two nights, the first being a very late arrival so the location was wonderful for proximity and ease to the airport. The clerks were always friendly. We had no trouble with noise and the occasional seaplane was cool to hear, not a nuisance. The room itself, not so great. Our room had an odor, probably from the carpets. We got used to it but it's not good. While the bed was quite comfy, the TV was really poor. It did not work well and was hard to turn on/off. We tried to check the remote battery but the lid was screwed shut. The fridge was horribly loud and made strange 'pops' which woke you up. We had to unplug it at night. We can not comment on the a/c as it was not used. The motel has a wonderful adjoining restaurant called Pipers. The motel is actually across the street from the seaplane lake. A large old airplane is on the property so easy to locate.
