Lovely Inn by the Water

Thank you Obediah! Your friendly welcome started with my phone call to the Inn prior to arrival and was made lovelier when I met you in person and your smile lit up the lobby!
We had a pleasant check-in experience with Emily and check-out experience with a young lady whose name slips my mind - but she too was lovely!
The inn has a great location on the harbor with plenty of options for dining - all within walking distance and a couple adjacent to the Inn with water views!
The area was clean, felt safe and was picturesque with parks along the water front and a great walking path. The room was clean as well as the bathroom which was clean.
When my travels next take me back to Bristol/Newport, I will be sure to stay again at the Bristol Harbor Inn!

Safety concerns for female solo traveler

as a woman traveling alone, i had safety concerns about the interior door lock. the door wouldn't lock without body slamming it and then pushing incredibly hard on the lock. i was reassured by staff that this was "the safest neighborhood in rhode island" despite seeing no fewer than 4 police cars responding to situations within a half a mile radius on my way to the hotel. i know you are the only game in town, but this is a sorry excuse for a hotel, especially at $600 per night.

Magical inn by the water

This is a wonderful place to stay by the water minutes away from Newport and many more attractions. Wonderful, friendly staff and manager! Truly recommend !!

Room renovation

The location of the hotel is phenomenal. The staff was also extremely friendly. Unfortunately the rooms are musty and need major renovation. We paid 700 dollars for an upgraded room that had mold on the ceilings, an air conditioner that didn’t work and smelled like water damage.
