ROACHES

ROACHES! BEWARE OF ROACHES! We had booked a 5 day stay at this place last minute on our 1st time visit to beautiful Oregon. UNFORTUNATELY, the racist woman at the front desk whom refused to give me her name, refused to give me the owners contact information who was on the phone with her at the time (she is the manager). I informed her I found a roach in the kids bed and she immediately denied it was a roach before even looking at my pictures. REFUSED to accommodate, they were suddenly booked. I explained this was ridiculous since I had to get everyone together and go where?!! Her response was "It's 830 am now you figure it out" - there were also ROACHES IN THE BEEAKFAST AREA. Not only was this experience traumatic for everyone but this woman's demeanor was absolutely CONDESCENDING, RACIAL, and HUMILIATING. She spoke over us the entire time, her distaste for us hispanics was all over haer face, speech, and demeanor. This woman absolutely did all this simply out of spite. She threatened to call the police. We had nowhere to go at 8:30 am in the morning because we COMPLAINED. This was our first visit to Oregon, we think it's beautiful. The way these small hotels run their business is absolutely WRONG. The room was not even clean, I would say POOR, it is run down and definitely needs maintenance, rooms are not well ventilated since windows are screwed shut.

Hairdryer in room did not work asked for one said don't have any. entry light above door light bulb burnt out, night stand next to bed to light bulb at all, tv remote would not shut off TV had to unplug each night. Garbage under bathroom sink I picked up and put in garbage. Breakfast bacon was so thin not fun to eat.
I have stayed at this hotel before and never had this many issues. I have been a General Manager, Food and beverage Director and Front Office Manager(Starwood Properties) I will not go back. I did ask for a discount and was informed by the FD Agent that would be up to the owner and she would pass the information on. The dogs started barking at 830am the next morning.
Did ask for a 1st floor room and was told not available. Choice has lost a customer, I still feel a refund of some kind should be given

Rude management for special needs clients

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the worst hotel experiences my family has had.
My daughter uses a wheelchair, so when booking through Priceline I specifically searched for a room with wheelchair accessibility and a roll-in shower. We arrived around 11:00 a.m. on Friday after driving through the night from Utah. I understood we were early and did not expect immediate check-in, but I asked whether the accessible room would be available. The front desk manager told us the room would be cleaned as soon as the previous guests checked out and that she would call us when it was ready.
We went to lunch and later called the hotel around noon. We were told the room was next to be cleaned and should be ready soon. After trying to pass the time shopping, we were simply too exhausted to continue waiting and returned to the hotel lobby. Despite a published 3:00 p.m. check-in time, our room was not available until after 4:00 p.m.
Although the room had a roll-in shower and a shower chair, it lacked accessibility features our family needed, including grab bars around the toilet and in the shower and a handheld shower head. These missing features made assisting my daughter much more difficult.
On Sunday morning I politely asked whether another accessible room was available. If not a room at that hotel possible with another hotel close by managed by the parent company. Instead of trying to help, the manager became confrontational. She repeatedly insisted that I had not booked an accessible room, accused me of lying to my own family about the reservation, and told me that if I continued discussing the issue she had permission to remove us from the hotel. During the conversation, she also disclosed that the only other accessible room was occupied by someone recovering from the hospital, which seemed like an inappropriate disclosure of another guest's personal information.
Eventually, the manager offered to refund our final night's stay if we checked out before 11:00 a.m. We packed immediately and were ready to check out around 10:30 a.m., but no one was at the front desk. Several guests waited about 15 minutes before the manager returned. When I requested a receipt or proof that we had checked out, I was told that because I booked through Priceline, no documentation could be provided.
After leaving, I contacted the hotel's corporate customer service and was told there was no record that we had checked out. Priceline also attempted to contact the hotel on our behalf, but according to Priceline, the manager ended the call.
The most disappointing part of this experience wasn't the room itself—it was how we were treated. Mistakes with reservations can happen, but treating a family with a child who has mobility needs with hostility instead of empathy is unacceptable. I hope management investigates what happened and improves both customer service and communication so other families do not have a similar experience.

Parking is free, which is great. Swimming pool is good, but so cold. Restroom in the pool room no toilet paper, not enough towels. I wish the room could be warm before we get into the pool. The chairs could be updated with new chairs in the pool’s room. The two bedrooms queen size is kind of small to rate queen advertise. The window in the room needs real time cleaning, it was rusty. The bathroom needs some updating. Not super clean when we arrived. Perhaps, if the staffing could get the AC turn on so we can’t smell the unpleasant smell when we walked in. I feel bad for the staffs that is working there. There’s nothing much they can do to assist us better. They were nice people, worked hard but seem like they are being under paid. I get that, they worked within the amount they get paid for. Breakfast was okay. I don’t think we will come back again to this place. Overall, thank you for a good night sleep. Our family 1st and last time at this place.

Needs maintenance attention

Toilet not working. Remotes and fridge taped together. Overall, cleanliness and maintenance needs attention. Breakfast not worth attending - eggs rubber and bacon paper thin and fake. Would not return.
