ROACHES
ROACHES! BEWARE OF ROACHES! We had booked a 5 day stay at this place last minute on our 1st time visit to beautiful Oregon. UNFORTUNATELY, the racist woman at the front desk whom refused to give me her name, refused to give me the owners contact information who was on the phone with her at the time (she is the manager). I informed her I found a roach in the kids bed and she immediately denied it was a roach before even looking at my pictures. REFUSED to accommodate, they were suddenly booked. I explained this was ridiculous since I had to get everyone together and go where?!! Her response was "It's 830 am now you figure it out" - there were also ROACHES IN THE BEEAKFAST AREA. Not only was this experience traumatic for everyone but this woman's demeanor was absolutely CONDESCENDING, RACIAL, and HUMILIATING. She spoke over us the entire time, her distaste for us hispanics was all over haer face, speech, and demeanor. This woman absolutely did all this simply out of spite. She threatened to call the police. We had nowhere to go at 8:30 am in the morning because we COMPLAINED. This was our first visit to Oregon, we think it's beautiful. The way these small hotels run their business is absolutely WRONG. The room was not even clean, I would say POOR, it is run down and definitely needs maintenance, rooms are not well ventilated since windows are screwed shut.

Needs maintenance attention
Toilet not working. Remotes and fridge taped together. Overall, cleanliness and maintenance needs attention. Breakfast not worth attending - eggs rubber and bacon paper thin and fake. Would not return.

Disappointed
Pool was super cold, not heated as advertised.
Breakfast was lacking basic supplies such as plates, hot water, plus ants through the apples amd cereal dispensers

Not worth it
Not only did they fail to mention that the hot tub not only wasn’t working but was completely filled in with cement and no longer there, but also the so called “heated pool” was freezing and not heated at all. There was 2 tiny towels available as well. Then in the morning when I went to go try the complimentary breakfast there was only a couple choices and so I just decided to get some fruit loops cereal and when I went to go put some in my bowl about 15-20 ants ran everywhere so I just decided to skip breakfast. There wasn’t even a holder for the toilet paper it was just a random roll in the counter. It was really a disappointing experience for the high price. For two nights I paid $295 and it DEFINITELY wasn’t even worth half of that.

We booked a night here so my kids could swim in the indoor heated pool. When we checked in we were alarmed that the room was dirty (food smudged on wall with hair stuck to it). Then my 6 year old daughter tried to open the sliding closet door and it fell of the hinges and onto her. I ran and pulled it off her. She was fine so I picked up the door and moved it against the wall. At this point I'm not sure why we didn't just leave as clearly the hotel is not even safe... I think I was just so exhausted from travel. We went to try the pool and it was freezing cold, no attempt at heating or a sign that the heating was off/broken/etc. This is when we packed our bags to leave. We were there a total of about 40 minutes. I talked to the person at the front desk. She was kind but clearly didn't understand what to do. She told me we could get our money back and that we needed to contact hotels.com/expedia.com and they would call the hotel to confirm the refund. We paid $200 for this awful room and experience. So we just left and later that evening I called expedia. They called the hotel and apparently were told they would now not issue the refund. Expedia said they would escalate and get back to me within 2 or 3 days. I have not heard anything - it has been a week. I will have to try to contact them again. This hotel is seriously suffering on multiple levels. I am just completely shocked they wouldn't give me my money back after such an objectively horrible experience.
