They were pretty friendly and had a pet area. There were dead animals in the parking lot. The room we stayed in could use a deep clean. There were dirty smudge marks all over. A drain plug for the tub that fit would be nice. The bed was incredibly comfortable.

Check-in was quick and the staff were friendly. However, the room was left unlocked when we entered. Inside, the bed was fine, but the top hard cover sheet looked like it was about to fall apart and could use replacing. The carpet was dirty—you could feel it walking barefoot, and stepping into the bathtub with the grime underfoot was unsettling. The dining table was sticky, and the portable AC/heat unit only had the AC working, with knobs so loose we feared they might fall off. This Super 8 Motel felt more cheap than super.

Whatever you do don't book here

1st mistake was booking this nasty room in Corning, CA thru Expedia. It was so bad I tried to cancel upon arrival (I NEVER cancel) As soon as we drove up we knee it was going to be a bad experience! Homeless in the parking lot, liquor store right next door, they tried to give us a filthy room, empty beer cans on the TV, cleaning supplies on the bed, bad smell, at the top of the stairs (room 211)
Trouble with booking thru a 3rd party is, you don't know how bad it's going to be until you arrive! The reviews they show you, when booking, gave them a "very good" rating. The owner wouldn't cancel bc I booked thru Expedia and now Expedia won't give a refund bc the owner claims his establishment is clean, safe and a bargain at $145. a night. We got charged for a room we couldn't stay in. And then we had to pay more than double for a room on the same day, at a different motel in a different town. Took me hours (and the next day) to talk to someone from Expedia and the supervisor tried to give me $20's in "Reward Bucks" for my next booking with them (dream on!) and we conveniently got disconnected! We can all learn a valuable lesson thru this experience; don't book at this nasty motel and don't trust Expedia...not ever!

Room was clean did see 1 roach and the refrigerator sounded like an air compressor when it kicked on breakfast that was offered was very limited but other than that it was very quiet bed was comfy and I would stay there again it served its purpose staff was friendly

Muffin breakfast, TV didn't work and the sensor light in the sink area came on when you moved in bed. Was woken many times during the night.
