a wonderful place to stay
this a wonderful place to stay. the owners are very nice and thoughtful. the room is very comfortable. the breakfast - granola, cheese, banana walnut bread, fruit, and more - was simple and very good. whenever you came to the table, it was ready.

Bathrooms are shared. Know before you go.
Upon arrival, two large dogs were barking and pounding on the doors. Once inside, there was a malodorous smell. When we were shown to our room, it was explained that we would be sharing a bathroom with others in the inn. This was in direct contrast to the pictures and description on both Hotels.com and Expedia. Sharing a bathroom at $200 a night is ridiculous! We stayed one night because the owner opened another bedroom with a private bath for us to use. We did not stay a second night. The owner has refused to refund our money despite admitting that the listing is inaccurate. When anyone writes an honest review, she accuses them of being mean and lying. Please check the low ratings and you will see that they all sound very similar. The owners are not honest and despite promising to refund our money, has failed to do so while not answering Hotels.com's phone calls.

Great stay! Lovely hosts, off-street parking was great, and the breakfast was outstanding. Would stay again.

This place was super close to where I needed to be, so the location was awesome. I had to come and go at crazy times, but they already had plans on how to deal with that and everything worked out great. This was my first time staying at a B it was much more personal than a hotel, a much shorter distance from the car to my room, and like I said, an awesome location. As you’d imagine, it’s a house with a driveway, so sometimes you have to play musical cars to get out, depending on everyone’s timing, but they have a system in place that makes it easy, and to have off-street parking in that part of the city is pretty amazing. My crazy schedule meant I never got to try the breakfast part of the B&B thing, but I hear it’s great. Plus the other guests and owners were very kind, welcoming, and helpful. I’d definitely recommend!

Judith and her husband were very kind and welcoming. However, the listing on Hotels.com shows very clearly that the rooms have private bathrooms. When we arrived and were shown to Room 1 (the Blue room), we were told that we would be sharing a bathroom down the hall with other guests. There is nothing on the listing that indicates that bathroom will be shared.
I was understandably dismayed and stunned. Judith did offer to allow us to use the bathroom in another empty room for one night so that we felt more comfortable. But, she let us know it would be for one night only. We chose to leave and not stay the next night rather than share the bathroom down the hall. We are awaiting a refund for our second night.
Sharing a bathroom is fine for a hostel. We have stayed in them many times when we were younger. But, we are older now and want our own bathroom. We were charged $200, which is not a hostel price.
If the listing were to be corrected, I'm sure many guests would like staying at the bed and breakfast. It's in a good location. Breakfast was good. It was nice visiting with other guests.
