Amazing Stay at Harbor Landing Condo 701-B

Our stay at Harbor Landing Condo 701-B in Destin, Florida was nothing short of amazing! The condo was immaculate and provided everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation with a great pool
One of the highlights was the incredible views from the condo. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and sunsets, which added a magical touch to our stay. The location was perfect, with the beach just across the street, making it incredibly convenient for us to spend our days by the ocean.
We also took advantage of the nearby attractions. Crab Island was a fantastic adventure, and the Harbor Boardwalk offered great dining and shopping options. We loved exploring Destin Commons and Destin Premium Shops, which had something for everyone in our family. Baytown Wharf was another favorite spot, with its charming atmosphere and fun activities. We had a blast at The Track!
Our family of six had the best time at Harbor Landing Condo 701-B. We made wonderful memories and can't wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a perfect beach getaway!

Terrible HOA who wishes no visitors

Do NOT stay here if you want to relax. HOA does NOT want you here. They make a stay very uncomfortable. We had 2 vehicles and a garage. One car was in the garage and one in the lot with a window tag. On our very last day after 6 full days on the lot, they towed the second vehicle because the window tag was behind the sun shade. The same tag that detailed our unit and dates of stay. It was visible from the driver or passenger window but not looked for. $175 later and spending our one sunny day at an impound lot. Harbor Landing ruined what was a great trip.
As for the beach - others are correct - 1 block walk, pain in the butt because you have to have the ONLY beach tag to get OFF the beach too. So no going back and forth. Someone always has to cross 100ft of beach to transport another to the gate. If the parking issue hadn’t happened, I might have overlooked this. But now I will let EVERYONE know that this place is a racket.

Don't book Harbor Landing 601A - False Advertising and horrible customer service

Our family of six (two adults and four children) stayed at Harbor Landing unit 601A over Memorial Day weekend 2025. When we arrived at the property we walked into water all over the tile floors and water coming out of a large crack in the ceiling in one of the bedrooms. We called the property manager and were told to send photos via text to a different number. We sent them immediately along with a video and then after we didn't hear back from them after almost an hour (not even a response to the photo's and videos) we called back and were told they would provide a follow-up shortly. They messaged us back at 10 p.m (over two hours later) and asked us to mop up the water with the towels in the condo (by the way, water is still coming out of the ceiling) and they would bring new towels in the morning. So we spent the first three hours of our vacation mopping up water and drying the wet bedding caused by water dripping onto it from the ceiling leak. (The water was apparently from a leak two floors above that they were already aware of). To say the customer service was horrible is a complete understatement.
We booked this condo because the listing advertised its close proximity to the beach (directly across the street) "with beach access". There is beach access for Harbor Landing owners and guests, however this particular property (601A) does not provide it. After messaging the property management multiple times requesting the code or key card to access the beach, they finally responded saying that the "beach access" provided by this unit was a public beach four miles away from the property. We talked to several other guests at this same condo complex (Harbor Landing) who said they were provided access to the beach directly across the street (along with boogie boards, floatation devices, wagons, et). If we had known we would have to pack up our stuff and drive four miles to access the beach we would never have stayed in this unit. I would think there has to be some sort of rules against false advertising.
Anyways, we have stayed at so many timeshare properties in the last 20 years and this was the most ill equipped property we have ever stayed at: one kitchen hand towel, one sponge, no hot pads, no paper towels, no dish cloths, not even salt and pepper.... If you wanted to cook in the room you would need to buy all the basic staples just to do so. And finally after spending the first 2+ hours of our vacation dealing with the water issue, when we asked to check out at 10:00 instead of 9:00 (which is ridiculous ) on the day of check-out - the response was a big NO. I don't usually take the time to give reviews, but want to save someone else from having a similar experience. Note: Harbor Landing is a wonderful complex - just don't book 601A.

Unhappy vacationer

Let me start by saying that the condo and the grounds were absolutely beautiful. Unfortunately, that was all there is good to say about this property. First thing to go wrong was we rented through Booking.com. This company charged us $3600 for five nights. I did not realize until it was to late that I could have booked through Holiday Isle Properties and paid $2900 total. Booking.com claims to price match but WOULD NOT come down off the price and I even had proof. Such a joke so PLEASE DO NOT book through Booking.com unless you do your research first. We were so overcharged. It makes me sick. We picked this place because we have a boat and wanted to have it with us and also be close to the beach. I was traveling with my husband and two daughters, 17 and 23. We arrived around 11pm due to some unfortunate trailer problems along the way. A normally five hour drive turned into a nine hour nightmare. We were absolutely exhausted and I was car sick so my husband dropped me off at the condo before he went to launch the boat. Immediately after entering the gate we were greeted with the rudest man I have ever met. He told us that we were not supposed to have a boat and trailer on the property and told us that he was going to send us a fine. We had not even been there two minutes. It was a heart sinking moment to be treated so unkind. We were aware that we could not store our boat trailer on the property, but we did not realize that we could not even drive it on the property. Apparently, there was a sign at the front gate but we did not see it. We were more worried about getting the code to work. We messed up but his rudeness was uncalled for. The sign was there but we somehow overlooked it upon our arrival. He was so rude and made us feel so very unwelcome. It was definitely not a good first impression. We also had two cars and were told that the second car had to be parked in the over flow parking lot which was a very long walk away. It was actually in a shell lot across a canal from the property. There were plenty of available spots close to the condo. It made no sense to park so far away considering how much we were paying to stay there. It is summer time and way to hot to be walking over a block away to get to your car. Especially after you have just showered. It’s crazy how they can get away with this. Harbor Landing was beautiful but the people and inconveniences of staying there make it a very undesirable property for us. We love Destin and vacation there very often but We will NEVER stay at Harbor Landing again. Waterview Towers is a much better option if you have a boat. The people, the place, the location, the price, and the view are seriously SO much better.

Nice spacious place

Stayed here for a week last June. Nice room....almost could see the ocean. Nice pool....spacious rooms. Lots of room to roam around. Conveniently located to shopping, but get out early as the main drag gets congested quickly. Good view of the inner harbot side.
