This place was so bad, we did not stay there. The rooms were very small and smelled like a smoker lived there. There was another smell in the rooms that I couldn't identify. The 'lawn' was poorly maintained & was full of dog poop. There were many angry dogs present and several were visitors. We also read reviews on complaints about bed bugs. We did not feel safe, so we checked out immediately. It appears most of the people are living there permanently and several were doing mechanical work on cars in the parking lot. The property had banners on the second level advertising rooms as low as $50/night.

The pictures are many years old. The people roaming the property made it hard to get comfortable. The cockroaches weren’t very appealing either.

I will NEVER recommend The Roadway Inn.
I wouldn’t stay there if it were free.
As soon as I opened the door the dirty musky smell was sickening.
The smashed cockroach on the wall says it all.
It’s a bedbug disaster waiting to happen.
I should’ve asked to see the room before paying. I went to the front desk and asked for a refund, I was informed I took longer than 5 minutes to cancel therefore I was required to pay for 1 night.
The advertised photos posted on the website/internet are a far cry from what you get.
Select Stay directly next door is clean, comfortable and SLIGHTLY more than the Roadway mess.

I am 50. I have been working the power industry for 22 years. This was the most disgusting hotel stay, ever. That's saying a lot.
