Awful, uncomfortable and unprofessional.

My stay 8/13-8/16. I’ll get right to the point. Stayed in RM 126. The floor was filthy. The sheets were not clean. There were yellow stains and makeup on the sheets from the previous guest. Upon walking into the room, you’re smacked with a dense humid mildew smell. When you get into the bed at night, regardless of the Air conditioner, you just feel uncomfortable and wet from the humidity of the room. When we approached the desk to remedy the situation, they were unwilling to give us a new room, because we had our dog with us (mind you it is a pet friendly inn and our dog was crated while in the room) The only solution they offered was air fresheners, a diffuser and a change of sheets. The mildew and humidity remained.
We asked for monetary compensation and they were unwilling to compromise.

We stayed here because we needed to be close to a nearby wedding venue, and this appeared to be the best hotel option in Hillsboro. If I were making the trip again, I would probably look for an Airbnb instead.
Our first room had visible black mold in the tiled shower, so we requested a different room. The staff accommodated the request, and the second room, which had a shower insert instead of tile, was much better. Be aware that there is no elevator, so if you're assigned a room on the second floor, you'll need to carry your luggage upstairs.
The pool was decent and served its purpose. However, after using the room towels after swimming, we asked the front desk for clean bath towels and were told they didn't have any available. We eventually had to find a housekeeper to get fresh towels. It's a small issue, but one that shouldn't happen.
The vending machines only accepted cash, which felt outdated, and the complimentary breakfast was below average. Fresh waffles were the highlight, but the breakfast sandwiches were prepackaged, refrigerated, and had to be microwaved.
Overall, this is a safe, reasonably clean place to spend the night if you're passing through or need convenient lodging in the area. I wouldn't consider it a destination hotel or somewhere I'd choose for an extended stay, but it was adequate for a single night.

Room had a smoke smell. Was quickly moved to a fresher room. Room was fine, however bathtub area could use a handrail for safety. Bed was quite comfortable. Staff was accommodating.

After a 12 hour drive we arrived around 11:00 at night and walked in to the staff member sleeping. Had to wake her up and then they tried to put us in a dog friendly room due to that was all they had left. We went to the room and it smelled like dog pee so we went back to front desk and she said she couldn’t change room without her boss. After a bit she called her boss and he did put us in a king suite for no extra charge. We got into the room and the bathroom was filthy. But the bed was a very comfortable bed and the rest of the room was clean. Day 2 our toilet leaked into the room below us and flooded it so we had to change rooms. Next room the bathroom was filthy again. We were not in that room for more than 10 minutes and the toilet wouldn’t flush. Called the front desk and they said they couldn’t fix it that night or the next. So we had to change rooms again. So now we are on our 4 th room. Again bathroom was filthy and the sheets had stains on them. At that point I was done and just decided to clean the bathroom myself and to just sleep in the stained sheets. The stair ways had food and trash in them and it looked like they hadn’t vacuumed them in months. The doors had food spilt all over them. The lobby is clean and they had some nice staff members working up front. For the price we paid I would suggest driving the extra 30 minutes away to stay at a nicer hotel.
