Great place

Great stay. I am normally a Marriott person, but I had some points with Hilton to use and booked a queen room on the day of travel. Great location off interstate with restaurants near by. Staff was friendly. The hotel is seven years old and you would think that it was just built because it is nicely maintained. I first thought that it had been recently refurbished. The beds and pillows were probably the most comfortable I have ever stayed in in recent years. That includes all Marriott and Hilton properties. Great variety of breakfast, including freshly made pancakes.

Check in disaster

I was rudely denied check it at the front desk because my wife made the reservation under her name and the lady working the front desk would not accept my driver's license as proof that I was her husband. She offered no explanation or a way to resolve the issue, just "I cannot let you check in because it is under a different name and that person is not with you". Totally unacceptable....!

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I understand how frustrating it is to arrive and be turned away, but for the safety and security of all our guests, our front desk policy strictly requires that the primary name on the reservation match the photo ID of the person checking in.
Because we cannot verify guest relationships through a driver's license alone, team members are required to hold check-in until the primary account holder arrives or adds an authorized guest to the reservation.
That said, our team should always explain why the policy exists and outline the steps needed to update the reservation—such as having the primary guest call us directly to add your name. I will be addressing this with our front desk team to ensure clear communication and helpful solutions are provided in these situations moving forward

Extremely rude clerk

Worst experience at any hotel EVER. The clerk is rude and should not be the person that has dealings with the public. The room I checked into was dirty, the bathroom floor was sticky with visible footprints on the floor, trash in the trash cans and she didn’t want to hear it. I asked for her name and she said “Sarah, and refused to give me a last name or contact a manger when I asked. This is the 2nd time I stayed here and her rudeness was the same level the last time. At least the last time the room was decent.
