We had two great nights and enjoyed our stay! Great beach days spent at Woods Cove just a short walk. Staff was friendly and helpful. Would love to stay again soon.

The beds were comfortable and parking is good. The shower door was broken and wouldn’t close. Their website photo frames just the ocean above the roofs of houses across the alley. There was constructing on at the house near our room so it was loud and ugly.

The room was small but clean. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. They have coffee and snacks for breakfast and the location was great. Never had to drive anywhere. I would stay again for sure!

Do NOT be seduced by their lavish landscaping. This “waterfront hotel” was an appalling, excruciating disappointment … So painfully shabby, it nearly ruined our romantic getaway. The Laguna Cove is nothing more than an exorbitantly overpriced, underwhelming dump, plain and simple.
I have never written a scathing review in my life but I have never felt so strategically deceived. The exterior may exude charm, but the rooms are shockingly dated, the furnishings are dorm room cheap, the rooftop terrace wasn’t even open as it couldn’t pass inspection, the electrical outlets were unreliable and sparse, and our “oceanfront room” overlooked a construction site replete with a porta potty! You could see the water in the distance, but had to look beyond the trucks and equipment. Despite their congenial staff, home baked cookies and coffee bar, this place should be bulldozed.

Our stay was just ok. The hotel is in a great location and the beds were comfortable. The exterior is so charming, but not so much on the inside. The bathroom needs to be gutted. The decor was mismatched and odd. We had a bit of an ant problem as well. We only stayed a few nights so we made it work but would not return.
