The staff was very helpful and friendly! The room was huge and clean. AC worked well. Nice and comfy bed and overall quiet.

The only reason I gave them a 4 star was because the rooms are not that private nor sound proof. You can literally hear the next door people talking and laughing, At night, you can hear your neighbor snoring. You can hear your next door neighbor brushing their teeth in the am.. We were woken up at 7 am by someones laugh. It was hella loud and woke all of us up. Other than that, front desk could be more welcoming and friendly, but it was very clean and convenient.

Microtel is one of the only 2 hotels
we stay when we go to visit our daughter at Texas Tech. Clean rooms and hotel has 24 hour surveillance. Highly recommended

My daughter is a student at tech and we came in to get her moved in for the school year. I had already booked and paid for our stay at the hotel and had a receipt and everything about a week in advance. Yesterday when we got there to check in, they could not find our reservation and we’re being very shady about it I showed them my receipt. They question my ID and they still were not able to find it. Another person came down and they went in the back and so we just told them that we were not comfortable staying there and that they could
