This is my hotel of choice in Tucson. It is clean, lovely, and properly staffed with very helpful and courteous people. The breakfast is good, warm, and plentiful. The rooms are quiet, clean, and tidy. And the location is such that you are on the edge of town but near the interstate. You’re still a hop, skip, and a jump away from everything (food, facilities, shopping)…but you don’t have the noise, crime, and the homeless mentally ill and/or fentanyl addicts that you’ll see plenty of a few miles down the road. When we have to stay at a local hotel, this is the one we choose.
So when our AC crapped out quite suddenly, I didn’t even consider any other location. I stayed at the Hampton Inn while waiting for the new AC to be placed. I was given a free upgrade when I got there. (Yay!). Everything was wonderful with the exception of one thing: the mattress. It sincerely felt like a 4-5 inch workout cushion on a plank of wood. I really have no doubt they would have moved me when a room became available if I had only mentioned it to them. That is on me, though.
Nevertheless, the people are so nice and everything else was so clean and lovely, I will still choose the same hotel again and again. Next time, though, I will promptly check the mattress and will quickly let them know if it’s a bit too worn for the wear.

The hotel itself is wonderful and so is the staff. The breakfast was really good and had many choices to choose from. We were on the fourth floor and had a great view of tucson and all the storms and mountains. The shower left a little to be desired as there wasn't much water pressure and the bed was meh. Overall still a great stay and we will def go there again.

No longer a “new” hotel
I’ve stayed here twice in the last year and both times the smell inside the rooms was extremely unpleasant. It was a mix of dog and smelly feet. Carpets need to be cleaned. This hotel gets a lot of traffic due to proximity to I-10 so although it isn’t very old, it’s beginning to show its age. If smells bother you, stay away.

Our room was clean and modern with a spacious shower and bathroom. The included breakfast had lots of options for everyone in the family. K
Our kids used the pool and enjoyed themselves. We would stay here again and recommend to others!
