This hotel needs a lot of attention, couldn't wait to leave in the morning, but the husband and wife who run it (own it) were very nice and I hate to leave a bad review, but this was not value for money at all

- room smelled like dog urine, had to air out the room and still the smell lingered
- water pressure dies after 6pm, and it’s low to start with. It goes from little water pressure to no water at all
- picnic area is full of dog feces, I had to pick up so many dog poop just so my dog won’t step on them. There’s really no other grass areas around for the dogs to relieve themselves

Very clean. Comfortable beds! Location is close to everything in the Monterey area. The staff was so friendly and attentive to all of our needs. Would definitely stay here again!

Great room, clean and comfortable. The front desk person was so helpful and friendly and fun to speak with. Great area and close to areas of interest to our family.
