Best Hotel in the area

I would give it a 5 star but this is a budget hotel, not the Ritz, but I have stayed in far worse places for more money. The price point has some maintenance / railroad workers staying there but they are great people, quiet, respectful and I even feel like they look out for me too.

Terrible

I was accused of stealing covers, they picked up everybody's dirty linen except for mines and left minds out side my door for hours after, beds are heavily peed in an has a molded smell to room

We booked two rooms at Quality Inn Moultrie through Expedia. The hotel initially marked our reservation as a no-show but accepted our check-in the following day.
Upon arrival we found exposed electrical wiring in an open junction box directly outside our room door, mold and water damage on the bathroom ceiling, a severely corroded and unsanitary bathtub drain, and a strong smoke odor in designated non-smoking rooms. These conditions are documented with photographs.
We vacated the property and secured alternative accommodations at our own expense. The hotel manager denied our refund request despite being made aware of these conditions. Expedia also denied our refund request despite photographic evidence.
The hotel accepted our check-in and occupancy yet still attempted to use a no-show policy to deny resolution. We are pursuing this matter through formal legal channels.

The front desk clerk was friendly & informative. The room however had a musky odor like the carpet had not been properly cleaned & dried. The bed was comfortable & clean.
