The location is convenient to John C Campbell folk school. There are many food options within walking distance.

Pool was closed. Needed repairs. We had pets so we were put in a pet friendly room. It appeared clean but had a really soured smell. Glad I brought my can of lysol. Probably won't stay there again.

Check in is fast. If you have a service animal,they do make you fill out a form on what it's trained to do. The breakfast was regular Continental,no protein. The pool is down,but honestly I think it always will be. There was a sewing needle buried long ways in the carpet . My husband snagged his bare foot on it. It bleed a fair amount. He dug the needle out of the carpet. It was rusted,so thank God he's had his tetanus shot. Wear shoes in the rooms. It was quiet for the most part,and no one bothered us. The hotel needs some updating . The rooms are really humid. We had to empty the humidifier in our room and clean it out. It had a lot of mold in it,and was full of water. The blankets on the room beds were damp with humidity when we got there. You could smell the dampness in the room. It was an okay stay,but it is an older hotel with some problems,so remember that when you stay

Pleased, would stay there again.

Clean room, comfortable beds and pillows, nice shampoo, lotion, etc. in room as well as coffe maker, fridge and microwave. Stayed in a room away from traffic noise. That was a plus, as the busy road is close. The continental breakfast had quite a variety. Only added would be some eggs and sausage for some protein.
