On the edge of town 5 min walk to bars.

Good clean well appointed hotel.

Nice people in reception & Cafe.
Only slight issue was the shower just has no power and low water flow

Brakeman hotel and Ms Mandy

The Brakeman hotel was amazing. Ms Mandy gave a directions to an amazing restaurant. She is very knowledgeable on the area and places to go and things to do.

Don’t miss this!

If visiting NOLA, this place is an absolute must stay; immaculate large room, beautiful tasteful building and an easy 5-10 minute walk to the French Quarter. On site café with good coffee and parking was an absolute breeze. Amanda on the front desk was fantastic and went above and beyond for us. Highly highly recommend for anyone :)

Outstanding room, location and price!

My wife and I stayed here for 3 days starting July 6th. This place is a gem. Quiet and the rooms are amazing and prices are awesome. The hotel is just a 10 minute walk to Bourbon Street. Close enough but far enough away from the noise. It's a boutique hotel. No pool or restaurant but that's not why we are here. Tour buses and trolleys are close. Will stay here again

Nice quiet location for French Quarter

Check in pleasant as the front desk staff are very welcoming. Amazing lobby full of photo opportunities. One elevator but was not crowded.. 4 floors. Rooms are of modern & unique decor, cozy in size but adequate. Fridge no micro. (micro in lobby). Beds and pillows very comfy, slept very well here. Climate control easy to use, accurate, and doesn't blow right down on you. Bathroom fine and two settings for walk in shower faucets (rain down or standard.) 2 critique moments: Water pressure in shower slightly on weak side and soap and shampoo is horrible! (Lavender Mint ala skunk lol). Bring your own. Boutique hotel with a Cafe in lobby, no breakfast, no coffee in lobby, etc. Location is nice, just a few blocks from the action if that is your cup of tea. But noise not a factor for sleep at all. If you go out late in the afternoon or evening, the lobby front slider doors lock, you must knock to get reception to come open it. They are attending the desk 24 hrs. Would we return to this property.. absolutely.
