Gardenview B&B is a Gem!

Gardenview B&B was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and it absolutely did not disappoint! My daughter and I visited Newport for a 4 day trip and had the time of our lives! Mary, the proprietor, is the absolute BEST. She has the most welcoming, friendly, warm personality. She offered advice for navigating Newport and our day trip to Block Island. What a wealth of information, and if she didn’t have an immediate answer she pulled out her laptop to help us find more specific info. Each morning she asked about our previous day’s adventures. We stayed in the beautiful downstairs room and were able to walk right out into her beautiful garden to enjoy our morning coffee. She is quite the amazing cook as well. Breakfasts were so delicious and filling. We didn’t need another meal until dinner time. I feel so fortunate to have stumbled upon her B&B in my search for places to stay in Newport!

Great stay

We had a great stay at the Garden View BB. Mary was an excellent host and very attentive to her guests. The house is warm and friendly and our room was very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Host Mary was fantastic…so sweet & friendly that we immediately felt at home! Her beautiful garden B&B is in a great neighborhood, very safe & walkable. We were in town for a wedding and Mary gave us advice on things to see & do and everything she recommended was great! Also super yummy breakfast…highly recommend!
