I stayed here for five nights on vacation with my two teenage kids in a "junior suite" (two queen beds plus a foldout sofa). Overall, this hotel provides good value for money. It's easily walkable to the Oceanside beach, as well as downtown. The free continental breakfast was a big bonus for us, though the offerings are limited (only three hot choices: scrambled eggs, sausage links, and waffles, but no oatmeal) and got a bit old toward the end of our stay. The hot tub next to the pool was much appreciated. There are two negatives that guests need to know about. First, WiFi strength was poor (especially on the third floor where we stayed). I had to use my phone as a mobile hotspot in order to connect my laptop and keep up with work during the stay. Second, parking is limited. We got the last available spot two nights after long days in San Diego. Six to eight spots were occupied by large bucket trucks being used for maintenance at the property. Finally, the TVs in the rooms are quite old and do not have streaming capability--only Direct TV. There was also no HDMI port on the TV to connect my laptop and stream Netflix, Paramount +, etc.

Great location and walkable to the beach, even with small children. Felt safe. Room was spacious and beds were very comfortable. Very strong water pressure in the shower, which we loved. Breakfast rotated throughout the week and was always fresh and tasty.

The location was the greatest perk. Proximity to shops, restaurants, beach and Camp Pendleton was excellent. Walking distance to the beach. Only complaint is I still haven't gotten my $100 deposit back and i checked out 6 days ago. Im going to give it one more day and start making calls.

Good value hotel.

Great time over a three night stay. So cheap compared to many hotels in Oceanside. OK, it's a fair walk from the train station, but that's fine with us: made it closer the the Marina. Room was good, spacious and clean. Quiet room away from the motorway and road system, so slept very well. Breakfast a little basic, but we enjoyed what we had. Staff all fine, weather great and Oceanside is a getting smarter and friendlier every year.

Overall it’s an okay place to stay. The price per night is way above what it should be for this location. The interior is dated, the sinks don’t drain very well, the breakfast is subpar, and there is not enough parking for the amount of guests. The homeless groups hang out in very close proximity to the hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. Probably won’t stay here ever again but that’s just me.
