Beautiful Historic Hotel with Spacious Rooms and Exceptional Service
We had a wonderful stay at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the hotel’s stunning historic architecture and beautiful design. The building has so much character while still offering all the modern comforts.
Our room was incredibly spacious, beautifully appointed, and exceptionally clean. The large rooms made our stay even more comfortable, and the entire hotel was spotless and well maintained.
The location is fantastic—we were able to easily walk to the Inner Harbor, Oriole Park at Camden Yards, and many great restaurants and attractions, making it easy to experience the best of Baltimore.
One of the things that truly set this hotel apart was the outstanding customer service. We received thoughtful daily text messages checking in to see if we needed anything, and the staff was always friendly, responsive, and eager to help.
If you’re looking for a beautiful, historic hotel with spacious rooms, an unbeatable location, exceptional cleanliness, and outstanding hospitality, I highly recommend the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore. We would absolutely stay here again.

Lovely room and comfortable bed, but surprised at the shortage of towels provided and the state of the bathroom (broken shampoo/conditioner unit just hanging on the wall).. Needed to make multiple requests before the problem was solved.
We were happy to have a bar/restaurant on-site, but again, surprised with how poorly stocked the bar was, and how unfriendly the bar and restaurant staff were. I ended up walking to a neighborhood deli after standing for over 10 minutes without an acknowledgement.
I also heard restaurant staff talking poorly about customers quite loudly. If you’re paying nearly 400/night to stay somewhere, this is NOT the service you would expect.

This hotel is an unbelievable gem…it oozes with history, but has a modern feel! I don’t know if we somehow got upgraded to a suite (or if every room in this hotel was as grand as ours), but our two queen room on the 14th floor made us feel like we were living the life of one of the B & O Railroad Presidents who probably used this space as an office back in the day. Our room was gorgeous, clean, and spacious. The ceilings were so high and the bathroom was so well lit and laid out. The staff were extremely accommodating, friendly, and helpful…and we were so relieved that they let us store our baggage for the day while we attended our event at the Convention Center. I am not very familiar with Baltimore, but this seemed like a great location…it was definitely an easy walk to the Inner Harbor and the Convention Center. If we ever travel to Baltimore again, we would definitely stay here again.

Started off a little rocky but management stepped in and solved the issues so quickly it’s not even worth mentioning details. Great location. Great bar…. Friendly staff. Walkable area. Would recommend.

They cancelled our booking apparently a pipe burst. Traveled for hours to turn up with no room for us. We had paid and we had called that Morning to check all ok. They said it was. It was not.
