Clean facility, beautiful location
Perfect location of a mile from the pier and the beach. Very clean facility, plentiful breakfast in the morning starting at 6 AM. Binoculars in the room was a nice touch so you can see dolphins or whales from your window. We had a nice sea view. The place was in transition when we visited employees, extremely laid-back, not informative when we checked in or checked out. I think they were under a lot of stress cause it looks like the place was being taken over by another company. We did receive a check in text asking if we needed anything to respond to it, but nobody ever did. I tried several times. Similarly, difficult to reach the front desk and had to call multiple times.

View, accommodation, and Services next to none!
Absolutely, our favorite place to stay in Pismo Beach. The view, accommodations and service is next to none! Not to mention a very nice breakfast to start our day. Currently the hotel is undergoing renovations, but it does not interfere with the excellent service and accommodations. We will definitely be back. This is now our annual and even semi annual destination. Thank you again for a wonderful day!

No elevator at this property. Not a significant factor in my review however, as the staff graciously ensured that I was on the first floor, as I couldn't use the stairs. Cleanliness of the restroom and bedding and excellence of housekeeping were a highlight of being here!
While my room was fairly comfortable there were a number of annoyances with renovation choices that weakened my experience.
- The fan in the bathroom is on a sensor switch for some reason so you're using a slide to turn it on and off.
- The shower is crowded and tight.
- The water pressure is non-existent.
- The control for the shower doesn't make any sense.
- The tub filler doesn't seem to have any connection to the controls.
- The stopper is a screw-in stopper.
- The toilet seat was crooked and could not be straightened.
- The door to the bathroom itself got stuck and couldn't be shut all the way without strong force.
- The beds have an odd spongy mattress and the pillows are unusually thick.
- Despite my room being clean and hardly tracking in anything from outside, the bottoms of my feet were black from being barefoot in the room.
Also, my AC seemed to stop working halfway through my trip.
One point to be aware of as well that is out of this property's control is that it STINKS here. My whole trip it was swarmed by sea birds. My car got covered in bird poop and the whole property is as well. It was not comfortable for me to go outside or open the sliding door to the patio.

It was our first time staying. It was my girlfriend‘s birthday. We got a larger room. I didn’t know it would be only different property than the one I viewed online. Also, we wanted to get rest and we couldn’t because people that was working. We’re singing loud and moving things around at 7 AM every morning so we were up early.Every day nothing diabetic friendly either and we paid $1400 for two nights but weather was perfect made the best of it
