We had breakfast and dinner at the motel and the manager on duty made us welcome. He remembered our first names as we walked in for two breakfast and two dinners. He was in military as I also served.
Check in manager made us welcome and parking garage I took two trips to truck and was helped tremendously.
Bell hop gave me information on our plan of touring.
Stayed at lot of motels being 70 years old and this place is Best of best and will be back.

We absolutely loved our stay!! The beds and linens were great, the food in the restaurants was great! Location is superb for sightseeing! We loved attending the Great American Fair and seeing all the beautiful monuments and fountains the week of July 4th!

Highly recommend the Willard!

Our family stayed at The Willard for about a week at the end of May 2026, and we wish we could have stayed longer! The property is well-run, clean and welcoming. The front desk staff is professional and helpful, and the bell staff is accommodating and easy to work with. The restaurants and bars were very good, we enjoyed all our meals. Room service was great - our order arrived quickly, well-prepared, and nicely presented. The room was comfortable, clean and well-appointed with good linens, standard bathroom amenities and a mini bar. We loved their little history "museum", and enjoyed learning about the deep and proud history of the property. Overall, it was a pleasure coming back to the hotel after a long day of running around museums and monuments. We highly recommend the Willard!!

Great experience, great location!

Great experience. Ramona was absolutely wonderful checking us in - took great care in explaining our options in the hotel and welcoming us. Dara provided fabulous service for dinner - super attentive, great recommendations, with friendly and solid service all around. Hotel is very classy and historic, and the location is great - super close to the National Mall and the White House. The Round Robin bar is also very cool.

I would absolutely stay here again.

The rooms were spacious and immaculate, the staff was professional and always helpful, the attached restaurants were amazing AND they have a pen store on the back side of the building!
