Nice hotel on Lake Balaton

Over the Easter holidays we stayed at the Hotel Marina Part in Balatonkenese. We were very pleased with the hotel: everything was clean, very good location with quick access to the water. Reception at reception was very friendly - always very happy to return.

Dirty hotel with a very good view

The rooms are clean, they could probably have undergone at most a partial renovation compared to the lobby and the restaurant area. Private closed parking. Adequate, sufficiently wide selection at breakfast and dinner. The breakfast was always very delicious, once a chicken at dinner is not to my taste, but this can be subjective. The jacuzzi in the wellness area has a very nice view of Lake Balaton. The lobby and restaurant are very tastefully renovated. However! In the restaurant, there is dirt and cobwebs next to the large windows, on the curtains, and all over the ceiling. Parts that have been renovated so tastefully and certainly not cheaply should be kept clean. Not to mention that this amount of dirt is not worthy of a hotel or its guests!

What a hidden gem!

This hotel is surprisingly super great both for adults and kids.
The staff is extremely friendly, food is excellent, and the venue at the beach has also an amazing atmosphere and view. I couldn’t find anything negative. The playhouse, the sauna, the inside pool, the trampolin park, the playground, the menu selection, the game room all 5*.

Nice hotel recently refurbished

Spent a couple of days at the hotel that was designated a family weekend, primarily for children. Very enjoyable and a nice atmosphere in the hotel.
One moan that our party did not appreciate. There was a company event taking place in the hotel that meant the lake side bar was closed to guests not part of this company event - quite poor in my opinion when you are a full paying hotel guest but a facility is closed to you in this way. It also meant the hotel and its facilities were quite crowded at times. We should have been alerted to this situation when booking the hotel.
