Good location
Good location for walking to some of the sights Athens has to offer and the Metro. Very quiet considering we were road side!!
Very warm welcome and local recommendations on our request from reception and restaurant staff are warm and friendly at breakfast.
Decent sized room and bathroom, comfortable bed.
Breakfast wasn’t overly to our taste, the latte machine was a nice touch as is the choice of sitting inside with AC or outside in a pretty courtyard (also quiet!).
Very warm welcome and local recommendations on our request from reception and restaurant staff are warm and friendly at breakfast.

we spent two nights at the Ibis styles routes hotel in central Athens, not in a fancy neighborhood but a rather nice location 5 minutes walking from the Aghios Ioannis metro Station. so you can reach anything like Acropolis,Monastiraki, Plaka, Styrii or Syntagma Square in about 20 minutes. the hotel itself is simple, but comfortable, very clean, very functional, and has a rather good breakfas
t. the trouble is that we reserved two rooms, and in one of them we got a handicapped room which has a shower without any closed cabin or curtain, so after every shower you take you have to spend one hour wiping the flooded floor. this is unacceptable, non-professional and not what I expect from Ibis or fromt the Accor chain. all they had to say about this event was "we're sorry, the hotel was fully booked, tomorrow you can move to another room".there's no way we'll stay in an Ibis or in any Accor chain hotel in the future

They are also more spacious, as they are specifically designed to meet accessibility requirements. Nevertheless, we fully understand your disappointment regarding the open shower design, which may not be suitable for every guest. As soon as you informed us of your concerns and once availability allowed, we arranged a room change for the following day in an effort to make the remainder of your stay more comfortable.

The staff was fantastic, helped us check in early, call a cab, etc. Room was clean and comfortable. Only slight complaint is they only had 2-in-1 shampoo/body wash.

Conveniently located
We were comfortable, safe, greeted in a friendly way, and conveniently located while staying here. The neighborhood is under some renovation, so scaffolding detracts from the view, but there were plenty of amenities located within walking distance.

A pleasant stay with good service from staff
I recently stayed for three nights at this hotel. In terms of access to the hotel, it is well located, within walking distance of Aghios Ioannis metro station. Despite arriving about an hour earlier than the official check in time, I was allowed to check in immediately. I was offered an upgraded room at check in, which is appreciated. The room had a kettle and mini fridge. The room was of a good size and was comfortable.
Any member of staff I interacted with during my three night stay were pleasant and helpful. The staff speak good English. Bar prices were reasonable. There was a good choice from the breakfast spread. The wifi was effective. The hotel was happy to store luggage for a few hours on check out.
Overall, I had a pleasant stay at this hotel and would stay here again.
