Amazing staff, the best memories made
Absolutely brilliant week at Ajul. The food was of a high standard and variety, the different pools clean, the sun loungers luxurious, all the staff amazingly friendly & couldn’t do enough to ensure our holiday was amazing. Special shout out to Jackson in the beach bar, Michal in the restaurant, Younes in customer relations and our jet 2 rep Jane. We don’t know how we’ll ever beat this holiday. The kids have made so many amazing memories

Well maintained resort, good facilities, excellent staff but food quality a little lacking.
Overall we were very happy with our stay. The buildings are simple but clean, the staff were very friendly and helpfully and quickly resolved a few minor maintenance issues in our villa. The waterpark was perfect for the 7 yr old (and adults!) in our group and despite the steep hill on which the resort is built, the electric buggies were always very readily available to move us around when needed. The beach is disappointing, shingly-pebbly and very narrow, and extremely steep to get to although it is via a road and there is a regular shuttle . However the pools around the resort were more than ample. All inclusive worked well with drinks, but the one negative is that the food is limited in choice and often cooked food was quite bland. For example, morning omelettes were plain with no option to add ingredients which is often the case. The two A la Carte options included in our All Inclusive were much better though - one Italian and one Greek. The report is quite isolated so if you wanted to go out to other restaurants it's a 20 minute taxi ride (easily arranged though). The resort was quite soulless without a central focal point, which might be an issue for some.

Huge disappointment
The hotel itself was okay, but the food was horrible. It was often cold, and every day we were served the same awful spaghetti. There was practically nothing suitable for kids. We had to make sure we arrived exactly when meals started because later the restaurant became a complete mess.
I tried to submit a complaint to Grecos, but their response was disappointing. They claimed that the hotel serves regional cuisine. Seriously? Is dry bread considered a local specialty?
According to the contract, the pool snack bar was supposed to offer pizza, souvlaki, ice cream, and other snacks. Instead, there were only poor-quality sandwiches made with toast bread and some sweets that appeared to be leftovers from dinner, which nobody wanted to eat.
I am more than disappointed, especially with Grecos' response. It feels like pure marketing and a lack of willingness to address legitimate customer concerns.

Lovely and family friendly, would recommend.
Location is in the middle of nowhere but that appealed to us as we wanted to explore nature.
Rooms were beautiful, lovely design and felt luxury.
Water park was lots of fun and children really enjoyed this. Limited floating rings for 2 of the slides but we were able to get 2 within just a few minutes of waiting. Bar tender was incredibly friendly and welcoming and helped find us a lounger.
Food is varied and super tasty. Didn’t encounter the issues with food that lots have mentioned in previous reviews. All of the family were happy with the range and quality, including 4 fussy neurodivergent children!
Lady greeting us on reception (short dark hair) was incredibly friendly and made us feel welcome immediately. Offered advice and suggestions which really helped!
Beach feels man made but the water is crystal clear and we got to swim and see lots of fish. Beach bar is basic but Jackson was able to provide some incredible cocktails and was a real highlight of our trip; really friendly and welcoming, and remaining professional whilst trying to multitask making drinks and answering our children’s many questions!
This hotel has been fantastic for us but I do feel it falls just a little short of 5 star expectations. Fortunately, staff like Jackson make up for this!

Super enjoyable
We had an amazing stay at this hotel! Everything exceeded our expectations. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the facilities were excellent, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming.
A special thank you to Jackson, who was incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help with a smile. His exceptional hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable.
We truly felt well taken care of and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a wonderful vacation. We will definitely be coming back!
