Located on the main street of Oia, The Dream is a traditional cave house consisting of 2 separate units each with an outdoor hot tub and panoramic views over the caldera.

The place is PERFECT! I don’t know where to start. The location: the place were hundreds of people stopped to take that dream picture… is two steps again from your terrace. While most people fight to have THAT picture, you can sit and have a coffee or a beer with that private space being yours. Also, is in the Center of all Oia’s action just a few minutes from everything.
The apartment is enormous, with a space for eating, two big bathrooms, and a really big bedroom (really big) with a comfortable bed, a safe and bathtub to relax. Outside you have your private jacuzzi to sit down and relax after walking all day.
A separate chapter for Elizabeth, our host, she is the perfect partner for a dream vacation and she will make you feel that you are visiting family. Even before arriving she sent me recommendations for dinner, places to visit and she took care of everything we needed, including transportation (super comfortable and recommended) from the port and to visit Fira.
We wanted to do the day cruise (highly recommended) and she took care of everything, including finding the day where the weather will be better to have the perfect day.
I recommend to stay here and we will definitely come back.

this is not a apartment NOT HOTEl, horrible room and service, try to avoid it
I stayed here with a friend from Feb 22-24, booked via Booking.com. Unfortunately, the 'Honeymoon' room we received was significantly different from the advertised photos.
A warning to fellow travelers: Due to the platform's sorting algorithm, negative reviews are often hidden at the end, making it easy to fall into a consumer trap. When I shared my honest feedback on Booking, the owner responded by threatening and cursing at me, which is completely unprofessional.
I have attached actual photos of the room. As you can see, there is extensive mold in the bathroom. While the owner has called previous guests 'liars' regarding similar complaints, the photographic evidence of these black spots speaks for itself. Please judge for yourself before booking.

To flee absolutely!
We booked this Villa on Booking for three nights and were deeply disappointed by this experience.
First of all, it is important to note that this is not a Pension and therefore there is no reception, which is not mentioned anywhere. When we arrived, no one was waiting for us, and we had to contact the host via WhatsApp to be able to enter the Villa. This should have been made clear in advance, especially for those who do not have permanent access to the Internet.
We also had to carry our luggage throughout the Village without any assistance, as the villa is not accessible by car.
Breakfast is deplorable: there was no milk or sugar.
The Villa itself is in a dismal condition, with an unbearable smell of mould and omnipresent humidity, making everything, including beds and cushions, moist. Even with a dehumidifier, the situation did not improve.
Attention to detail was totally absent: empty candles, hair dryer out of order, broken terrace lights, etc. We contacted the host to replace the hair dryer, and although he provided us with a new one, it did not have a compatible adapter. Finally, we received a third hair dryer the day before our Check-out, so it was useless.
The worst part was the unprofessionalism of the host. After leaving our review on Booking, we were attacked by private message, the host accusing us of lies, which is simply unacceptable.
For an Award of over 500€ per night, we expected much more professionalism, a clean and trouble-free Villa.

When an idyllic setting turns into a nightmare
My stay at this Villa was marked by several disappointments, which initially led me to give a Rating of 5/10 on Booking. I noticed a very high humidity in the apartment, accompanied by mold, as well as a flagrant lack of attention to detail and cleanliness. Moreover, the apartment was much darker than the photos suggested, and some equipment, such as terrace lighting and hairdryer, did not work. Although the central location and historical charm of the Villa are positive, these inconveniences greatly altered my experience.
However, after leaving my review on Booking, I was contacted by the host via WhatsApp, expressing dissatisfaction with the Rating I had given. I find this very unprofessional, especially since the host denied my observations outright and accused me of making them up, which is unacceptable. For a rate exceeding 530€ per night, I consider this behavior unacceptable.
