The hotel is fresh and modern whilst tastefully retaining the charm the buildings history. Our room was very spacious with all the amenities we could ask for. The bed was very comfortable and the room always kept a comfortable temperature despite the heat outside. The maid did a fantastic job every day and we always looked forward to arriving back to our freshly cleaned room. She was very attentive and friendly when we briefly chatted to her on our way to breakfast.
The breakfasts were always freshly made with a generous spread of traditional greek food both hot and warm, sweet and savoury. We enjoyed eating our breakfast in the outside restaurant area that directly lies directly on the sea.
We enjoyed meals at many restaurants in Rehtymno but it was difficult to beat the well prepared and fresh meals at the hotels restaurant. To top it all off, you can then move to a comfortable lounger next to the water and enjoy watching a beautiful sunset whilst enjoying a cigar and sipping on one of the fantastic cocktails made by their talented bartender, Giorgos. Which brings me onto the staff at the hotel, they are fantastic. We felt so warmly received and welcomed by them all. A special mention should be given to Aris, who really went the above and beyond our expectations of hospitality and professionalism. We look forward to one day returning to Thalassa Boutique Hotel

Out the way peace of heaven
This boutique hotel is beautiful, it has 12 rooms , our room was 103 with sea view balcony, maisonette style, we loved it , when You arrive it's on a busy road ,but open the door and your in another world . It was spotless and receptionist was so welcoming. When you come out of the hotel and turn right you have at least 4 fantastic restaurants, the restaurant in the hotel is first class as is the service, breakfast is good lots to choose from and a different smoothie each morning. Eggs cooked to your choice also . We walked into the old town and harbour etc and also bought bus tickets from a kiosk just out to the left of the hotel , you need bus tickets to use this service. The old town has a plethora of beautiful restaurants boutiques and all kinds of bars taverna's etc . I just want to thank Konstantinos , and Aristotle for their kind attention they gave us and also shout out to the girls too all fabulous , we can't wait to return and hopefully will be soon .

Symphatic stay
We stayed at the hotel from April 12-18. We had a wonderful time there, the rooms are nice, the breakfast on the terrace is great and the staff is very friendly. Greetings go in particular to Katya, who has served us very courteous every day.

Such a special hotel
We absolutely loved this hotel!
This has been such a special holiday from start to finish.
We stayed in the Sea View Suite and it was worth every penny – waking up to those stunning views each morning was unforgettable. The breakfast is beautiful, with plenty of delicious options to enjoy while looking out over the sea.
The staff made our stay even more memorable – so friendly, kind and welcoming. They really go above and beyond to make you feel at home. The private beach is a real bonus – peaceful, clean, and perfect for relaxing.
It’s about a 30-minute flat walk into town, but the reception team are happy to call a taxi if you prefer – nothing is too much trouble.
I also had an in-room massage, and it was genuinely one of the best massages I’ve ever had – such a lovely touch of luxury.
The rooms were cleaned to a high standard everyday.
The restaurant is incredible – amazing food, great drinks, and a lovely atmosphere. We honestly didn’t want to leave and are already talking about when we can come back.

The reviews don’t lie, great property and friendly hospitable staff.
Especially loved the peace and quiet and being able to relax with a glass of wine on the balcony while listening to the sound of the sea and enjoying its breeze. Small boutique hotel outside of the hustle and bustle of old town with a private beach. Great restaurants within walking distance Prima Plora and their own Thalassa Seafood restaurant. My room was comfortable, but the bedroom area was a little warm. I’m sure they would’ve adjusted the temperatures if I had asked. As a female traveling alone I felt safe. Will be back!
