Great Stay
The hotel was amazing. Our room had an amazing sunset view. The rooms were great, and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The roads closer to the hotel were a bit bumpy, but after a few days not he island, you realize that most of the island is like that. :) I would definitely recommend the hotel to friends and family.

Not worth it, Seven Dreams much better, it feels like home
Not happy with our stay at Maua Nusa. They don't pay attention on small details for the high level of the tourist. We had to wait almost for one hour to get to our room even though we arrived on time. The bathroom design not good at all. The toilet in indoor and the shower room out door, so when you want to use the bathroom you to keep walk the bed room a lot which it makes uncomfortable.

I will search further investigation re this matter .We understand that after a journey, a smooth and timely check-in is an important part of the overall guest experience, and we acknowledge that we should have handled this much better.
We also appreciate your feedback regarding the bathroom layout. We understand that the separation between the indoor toilet and the outdoor shower may not feel convenient for every guest, particularly when it requires moving through the bedroom between the two areas. While this is part of the villa's architectural concept, we fully understand your concern regarding practicality and comfort.

Maua offers the best of Nusa Penida
We had a wonderful stay at the Maua Nusa Penida. We had one suite and two rooms for our party of six adults. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and our suite had a beautiful patio and plunge pool overlooking Gamet Bay.
The staff were exceptional! Every person was warm and thoroughly professional. Richard at the front desk and Fredy from the wait staff particularly stand out. The food, particularly at the romantic couple’s dinner, the overwhelming rijstaffel feast, and the daily breakfasts were really special.
The only drawback in my experience on Nusa Penida was that the local traffic can be very heavy. Even here, the Maua staff had great suggestions to time travel to minimize traffic disruptions. My family and I are also grateful to the staff for connecting us to the phenomenal team at Oure Dive, with whom we had two flawless days of diving and snorkeling.
If you are planning a trip to Nusa Penida, I recommend Maua Nusa Penida with total enthusiasm.
