Not luxury but very nice peaceful stay

Cute wooden cottages with balcony and great view to the ocean. Small quiet pool. Not a fancy place. But clean and near a lots of restaurants and cafes. Easy to find and quiet with air con for the perfect stay. We spent two nights here and loved it.

Go away from hier

We initially booked for two people and later requested an extra bed. They responded saying that providing an extra bed was not possible, but they managed to arrange an extra mattress for my brother. However, they did not mention any additional cost initially. As a result, my brother had to sleep on the floor.
Now, we want to pay for the cottage, but when we contacted the owner over the phone, they were extremely rude. They demanded an extra cost of 150,000 for the mattress for three nights. Their behavior was dishonest and disrespectful towards guests.
We would like to file a complaint regarding this matter.

The best for little money

We booked a bungalow for 4 nights through booking. We were contacted before we arrived to clarify any questions, such as transport from the ferry. The bungalow was perfect, was cleaned daily and everything else was excellent. It's a bit of a shame that there are no drinks to buy, but the fridge works and the shops are close by. We rented a scooter here, Big One, which arrived very quickly and served us very well. The larger model, Yamaha nmax, is worth it, the roads here are often really steep.
The pool view is sensational, as is the view from the bungalows. We were also lucky that the Agung was cloud-free most of the time. The price-performance ratio is excellent and the catering in the form of warung is currently under construction, but it doesn't make any noise.

Good hotel

Hotel ideally located near the port, high up which allows for a beautiful view of the sea.
Welcoming and pleasant staff.
Clean room equipped with air conditioning, kettle, bottle of water, fridge, towels, shower gel/shampoo and terrace with sea view.
Every day the trash cans are emptied and your bed is made.
Very pleasant swimming pool and deckchair.
Small downside on the breakfast which is done in a restaurant just below the hotel, but which is not really very good and the staff is not the most pleasant.

Atypical, Simple, Natural

No mosquito net to protect the bed. No blanket, just a blanket. Many holes in the facade allowing lizards and other insects to enter. Nice view from the balcony of the bungalow. Bathroom and toilet outside the room.
Breakfast downstairs in a restaurant, choice between fruit salad (grape, a pear and a banana) or banana pancake. The plates were not clean, the pancake was not the best we had. We did not take lunches on the following days even though they were included in the price.
