Beautiful resort with lovely facilities. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. Very friendly, welcoming staff too.

Terrible

Very bad experience at the Palais Medina Riad Resort.
Upon our arrival, the welcome was very disappointing. No welcoming gesture, not even a glass of tea, which is nevertheless emblematic of Moroccan hospitality.
We had booked and paid for our stay via Booking. At the front desk, we were told that they had not received any payment and we were asked to pay a second time. We had to insist for the situation to finally be verified.
We had also requested a room with two separate beds. Upon our arrival, we received a room with a double bed. After asking for a change, we were assigned... a second room with a double bed! It was only on the third attempt that we finally obtained the requested configuration. Throughout this process, no one offered to help us carry our suitcases.
Once in the room, the unpleasant surprises continued: no bottle of water, even though we are in the middle of July and it was very hot. In the bathroom, there were not even any towels to dry off with, and the soap and shampoo dispensers were completely empty.
Finally, the night was very unpleasant. The curtains hardly block out the outside light, which makes sleeping difficult.
Given this accumulation of malfunctions, this stay was a real disappointment. This establishment absolutely does not deserve its rating and I do not recommend it.

Hotel not to be remembered

Of five stars it has only the name. Old room with bath/shower difficult to access. Dinner and breakfast very scarce, with very little choice. Non-existent service: we had to set the table ourselves!

Dear Qelisa,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are deeply sorry to read that your stay did not live up to our 5-star standards and that you encountered several disappointments.
We sincerely apologize for the condition of your room and the accessibility issues you mentioned. Please be assured that we have shared your comments with our maintenance and housekeeping teams to address these points immediately.
Furthermore, we are very concerned by your comments regarding the restaurant service and food variety. Having to set your own table is completely unacceptable, and we will be conducting an internal review with our food and beverage team to ensure such a situation never happens again.
Your feedback is invaluable in helping us improve. We would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this further with you. Please feel free to contact us directly.
We hope to have the chance to regain your trust in the future.

Bad

Room and bathroom ok. Breakfast and dinner very bad, with protein shortage. Come as soon as you open the buffet, because the Chinese end up with everything!!! Very weak reposition!

Dear guest,
Thank you for your feedback. We are pleased to hear that you found your room and bathroom to be satisfactory.
However, I am truly sorry that our dining experience did not meet your expectations. We take your comments regarding the lack of protein options and the speed of replenishment very seriously. We are currently working with our kitchen and floor teams to ensure our buffet remains well-stocked and diverse for all our guests.
Your satisfaction is our priority, and we hope to have the chance to welcome you again very soon.
