Great place to stay for a family holiday. The room was spacious and clean. Everything worked. The buffet restaurant for meals was amazing. So much choice of food and decent quality too. The water park was good fun, and all the pools were well maintained. The grounds were lovely to walk around and very well maintained. The gym was also spacious. Only drawback for us was the loud music played in the dining hall. There was no escape to this. This was very over stimulating for some members of our party which made mealtimes a bit stressful. We were given permission on one occassion to take food out of the dining room, however, it was quite a process so wouldn't have been manageable to do for every meal. It would be great if there was a quiet area in the dining room.

Wonderful stay so far!

We arrived on the 9th June for our 2 week family holiday ( we still have a few days here) and tbh I don't want to go home!
The Hotel, granted there's not much surrounding it but the hotel itself has everything you need anyway.
FOOD, breakfast, lots of choice and lovely food, best part of my morning, to avoid the business everyday we have been going down at half past 7/8 o'clock ish and it is so peaceful. There's 3 restaurants to choose from aswell as the main dining hall ( buffet style) me and my family have had no issues, granted can be busy sometimes... its a family hotel with lots of families! Lots of varied food and the BBQ was lovely. The snack bar was lovely, the same food but thats been the same in most hotels we've stayed at. There seems to be a recurring theme about the ice creams not being free and no snacks like crisps and chocolate... we have always stayed in all inclusive hotels one being a 5 star and this has not been a thing in any of the hotels, things like that aren't free but you can buy them from the shops which there are two shops on site.
CLEANLINESS, there is always staff going round with plastic bags clearing the little poolside tables taking your bottles and rubbish ect, sometimes there are plates left on the tables but we never noticed them there for long especially not swarming with bees like some of the pictures...the grounds are so well maintained with workers attending it, the dining hall, there is always cleaning ladies sweeping round the dining hall, our rooms were also cleaned everyday with fresh towels and they take so much care to the little details like how your bed is set
ACTIVITIES, my partner plays countless water activities and loves them, the animation team are great and the shows are good and varied at night, we've enjoyed them! The main gentleman on the pool bar is so lovely! Yes there has been queues at the pool bar and snack bar but nothing that doesn't go down quick. The bees/ wasps, yes they are round the pool, you are in a warm country in North Africa, this cannot be helped by the hotel they are a natural occurrence, easy tip, at the shop they sell thermal bottles, game changer purchased 3 barely had issues except on odd occasion where me and my son were stung, I absolutely do not blame the hotel for this!
CHECK IN, the ladies were lovely, went fine and they even upgraded us to a quadruple queen room for free!
My son is autistic and although there has been abit of a language barrier trying to explain this at times, the staff have been great with him especially the lifeguard who wears the blue sleeves under his lifeguard uniform, I saw him at one point go over to my son and just interact with him high fiving him etc
The same as anything when we arrived we went straight to the shop and got a 6 pack of big bottles of water like we do everywhere, we have had no issues getting water, even on the pool bar there's bottles of water readily available to take! The soft drinks are just that soft drinks! The coffee is fine and the cocktails are lovely, We are having a lovely stay so far! I have no complaints about anything

exceptional

my experience in the aqua mirage hotel was exceptional. everywhere is clean from the bar the restaurant the pool and the rooms. the food is incredible and there is a wide range of selection to choose from. i will say that the drinks could definitely grow in range and for the soft drinks to taste a bit nicer but that is all. the best thing about this hotel is the animation team , every single employee on this team is full of energy , they bond with everyone and they brighten up the place. they also have activities during the day for people all ages from old to young to keep everyone entertained. this hotel wouldn’t be what it is without them they definitely deserve recognition. the shows at night time are also very good as they have a wide range of diffrent cultures to include everybody’s nationality. the moral of the story is this is a family friendly hotel and if you want to go on a family holiday this is definitely the place

Fair but could be so much better with very simple changes

To start with the positives, the hotel grounds are lovely and very well kept. The entertainment team work very hard and are very good. Bar staff are efficient and friendly and get to know your drink orders well. The weather was of course excellent, as expected. The bedrooms are a good size and kept very clean by cleaning staff. The food was decent, with plenty of choice, however there could be a little more variety with perhaps a rotating special dish or theme each night. The lunches and snacks at the Aqua Park were very good and fresh.
Unfortunately, there were a number of negatives. Many of the staff are not warm, friendly or hospitable, particularly those at reception and in the restaurant. I experienced receipts being thrown on the desk to me when booking travel, being told by your staff that a slightly ripped 50 Dirham note was “worthless” and would not be accepted. Fortunately, the TUI rep advised this was not the case and intervened and the money was accepted. In the restaurant, many serving staff do not appear to be capable of greeting or smiling at customers, who are essentially keeping them in jobs through tourism. Instead, many of them look genuinely bored and disinterested and forcefully snatch your plates off you when serving. I would suggest that this is addressed because it makes for a cold, uninviting environment where you feel unwelcome on holiday.
In block four, the bedroom doors do not close properly without being forcefully slammed shut. Therefore, you hear this repeatedly, day and night from all of the rooms. This does need to be addressed for customer comfort.
In respect to hygiene, I witnessed restaurant serving staff in the dessert section chewing gum whilst ‘slopping’ desserts onto plates, with no care. Chewing gum in a restaurant server capacity, I find, is unprofessional, disrespectful and unhygienic. Many of the cups at the bars (particularly the blue cups) need to be disposed of and replaced as they are heavily chipped and cracked and once full often leak all over the tables. Foods laid out outside at night time should be covered given the number of flies landing on them.
For a four star hotel, I would not expect threadbare towels and stained sheets in bedrooms, and very thin rough toilet paper.
Finally, it makes little sense to me why you are not able to take large bottles of water from the restaurant for your bedroom fridges without being stared at or reprimanded and told to put it back. This is the case even when you have drank some of it and it is no good for others. Given the temperature, and that no water is added to the fridges daily, it seems counterproductive for customers to stock up on several tiny plastic water bottles from the bars that last very little time before needing to return once more. Environmentally, having less plastic waste would surely make sense?
Unfortunately I would not return unless all of the above are rectified. It seems that a number of posters are commenting on the same issues and have been for some time, so I unfortunately hold little hope they will be taken seriously or addressed.

Dear Guest,
Thank you for taking the time to share such detailed feedback regarding your stay. We are pleased to learn that you appreciated the hotel grounds, the work of our entertainment team, the friendliness of our staff, and the variety of food offered throughout your stay.
At the same time, we take note of the concerns you have raised. However, we would like to clarify that professionalism, courtesy, and guest service are standards expected from all of our teams. The situations described do not reflect the service principles we strive to uphold on a daily basis.
Regarding hygiene, food safety, and cleanliness, Aqua Mirage Marrakech operates under strict procedures and regular controls. Any observation brought to our attention is reviewed by the relevant departments to ensure that these standards continue to be maintained.
Concerning water distribution, our procedures are designed to ensure fair availability for all guests while minimizing waste and maintaining operational efficiency throughout the hotel. Please note that the use of plastic cups is a deliberate safety measure adopted by the hotel. Given the presence of swimming pools, the aqua park, and areas heavily used by families and children, glass containers are not permitted in these spaces in order to prevent accidents caused by broken glass.
We appreciate both your positive comments and your observations. Feedback of this nature is reviewed internally and shared with the concerned departments as part of our continuous improvement process.
