WE WOULD LIKE TO COME BACK AGAIN AND AGAIN AFTER THE RENOVATION
This is our second time checking in the Hotel. The Service, Food, Facilities and hospitality always on top. All thanks to Mariel for her service of our 3 days and 2 nights there. we even got a birthday cake, chocolate and discount for birthday gifts. Thank You So much Hard Rock Hotel Penang.

Excellent hotel, quite pricey.
Nice hotel, nice swimup rooms. You notice little of the renovation work (no nuisance at all). The breakfast is very rich and delicious. Now the hotel was not half full due to the work, and during breakfast it was very busy. The beach is not much unfortunately. Many nice and tasty eateries within walking distance. For an extra bed you have to pay a lot extra.

Bad experience turning into good!
Booked 3 months a twin room (travelling with daughter), followed up a month before to confirm twin room then day before arrival seeking confirmation again. The day we checked in, unfortunately they couldn’t supply a twin room, only king size bed. I wasn’t offered alternatives so I decided to book a different hotel for me.
That wasn’t a pleasant experience and then during the time there bar staff confused billing which took a few attempts to fix.
However upon my return to Australia I decided to reach out to management about my experience.
I ended communicating with the GM. After some emails and his apologies for the 2 incidents, the hotel reimbursed me basically covering the cost of the other hotel.
Sometimes travel can be stressful but if you deal with people respectfully and honestly more often than not you will get an outcome.
The hotel handled my situation with respect and with full understanding and I feel that if an opportunity arose I would go back to the hotel.
Outside my experience the hotel has amazing pools, food and entertainment and highly recommend the facilities.

Lovely holiday
Our second time visiting this hotel and was just as brilliant as it was before
The hotel is perfect for families. Kids club, baby play area and teenagers club with pool table and PlayStation.
The waterpark anf slides are brilliant safe full of life guards and never too crowded.
The beach is pristine clean and well maintained. There are no sunbeds or canopies out there (I dont think the beach area outside is private) nevertheless it was never busy and very serene.
The hotel amenities are good 2 housekeeping visits a day which is decent if you've got sand in your room from an afternoon in the beach
We had a roxi kids suite with a courtyard this was decent but unfortunately although the rooms were separate in space the sounds and lights were not due to the layout of the wall which did make it difficult when our toddler had his nap in tne afternoon.
We did as for connecting rooms instead for the space but the hotel was at full capacity due to ongoing renovations.
The staff all around the site were always smiling, happy and really kind to us during our stay.
I would definitely recommend this hotel as its has everything fot a family break if it provided half board or all inclusive rates it would be a10/10.
The hotel is located on a busy stretch so food is easily accessible but honestly who has the time to get ready and go for lunch, as expected we ate in the poolside hotel for afternoon which can get expensive and repetitive.
The hotel is perfect for families. Kids club, baby play area and teenagers club with pool table and PlayStation.
