Nice and comfortable plus vintage aesthetic instagram able stylish boutique hotel in the heart of Kuching waterfront, just cross the street can already enjoy the view and burn calories by walking back and forth through Darul Hana Bridge. The design interior is such a lit, back to old town style. They have good breakfast as well as vegan friendly cafe next door. Thank you so much Olyvia for warm greetings and efficient check in process and all Ranee Boutiques Suites staffs for great services and hospitality.

A perfect 4 day stay
We were meeting a group tour and arrived
And arrived in Kuching a few days early. The Ranee Boutique Suites was appealing for its unique building and location. Our 4 night stay was delightful. I stayed in the Elizabeth suite and was delighted with the space, cleanliness, natural lighting. If available I recommend the suites which are large and beautifully decorated (my room had steps leading up to it which may not be convenient for all. Also there are some rooms that open onto the inside of the hotel without natural light)
Most memorable was the staff who were uniformly friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Ramona who helped me from before I arrived with arranging transport to the hotel to the very last day organizing a last minute night frog tour. She sits at the desk with tour material and brochures when you enter the Ranee. Say hello.
Lastly the amenities including the cafe, small bar and sitting areas were perfect and the location was walking distance from all restaurants and sights. Highly recommend a stay here!

Excellent location for a visit to Kuching
This was our first hotel in Borneo and the location is perfect. It is situated by the waterfront and within easy walking distance of shops and restaurants. The rooms have their own individual style and we found the Executive Suite very comfortable and quiet. As everyone else has mentioned the only flaw is the breakfast. If only this was improved it would be a excellent place to stay

Wonderful Stay
I stayed during 5 nights . The staff were always courteous and helpful, specially Olivia ! The rooms were always very clean and I had a beautiful view of the river. Breakfast was very good I would definitely return and will recommend to my friends and colleagues.

Great staff and location could not be better
We enjoyed our stay at the Ranee with only a couple of small issues. Our room was spacious, the bed and pillows comfortable with good linens and it was all very clean. The shower was excellent and the air con was quiet and effective. Unfortunately without realising it, we had booked an inner room, there was no natural light and the small balcony looked over an inner courtyard. We did not spend much time in the room but think that this should have been made clearer on the booking websites.
We were also not a fan of the breakfasts, very limited choice and only drip coffee or tea. I have taken a star off because of this, only because we expected more from the reviews.
The staff more than made up for our little gripes, all extremely welcoming and helpful, they even made arrangements for us to get into our room early as we arrived mid morning due to our flight and needed to change.
We much prefer hotels like the Ranee to the big corporates which we saw many of in
Kuching and would be happy to stay there again.
