A nice surprise in Grand Bay

First of all we must insist on the excellent value for money of the Northern house, the availability, the kindness of the staff is an example to follow for many establishments.
The rooms are spacious with all the necessary comforts.
A beautiful swimming pool to relax, varied breakfasts.
And what is even more pleasant for the sector is the calm and zenitude that reigns here.
In short, a rare gem.

Disappointing stay at Maison du Nord

Disappointing stay at Maison du Nord
The room is ok at first glance, but maintenance is still insufficient! The furniture is tristoune, it is made with chipboard panels which gives a DIY impression rather than real hotel furniture equipment. Towels are rough and sometimes smelly. The pool mattresses are really dirty.
The staff is very helpful but the lack of supervision leads to noise nuisance (some customers, especially large families, do not respect the schedules or the tranquility of the premises). Everyone does what they want!
Finally, the absence of food in the evening or a space to prepare a meal forces you to go out every evening, with the constraint of having to travel by car in an environment not at all suitable for pedestrians (dark roads without sidewalks).
In short, a place with potential, but which requires significant improvements to live up to it.

Very nice hotel in a quiet

this hotel is certainly a 3* maybe because of the showers but it has everything a 4*
Beautiful pool very nice after the beach
Superb breakfast with fresh fruit, pancakes and omelets prepared in front of you
Very attentive and attentive staff who do everything to make your stay as smooth as possible
Quiet Grand Bay
Well placed but better have a car

Simply a wonderful place to stay!

This is one of those rare places where you feel genuinely welcome. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the rooms are very spacious, the breakfast was delicious, and the pool was always spotlessly clean.
I booked this hotel for convenience because we were attending a wedding nearby but I wish we had stayed for longer. If we return to Mauritius, I would definitely book to stay here again.

Exceptional, 10 out of 10!

We stayed is Maison du Nord for our whole journey in Mauritius. Since the very beginning we felt like home.
From the security guard to the guys at the breakfast bar and the employees at the front desk they were all incredibly nice.
They helped us trying to organize the activities we were planning on doing to optimize as much as possible our time, they provided information of the best locals, restaurants, beaches and interest points nearby.
It is a nice place with an amazing team and this sets a really nice and relaxed atmosphere.
If we ever return to Mauritius for sure we’re gonna come back to this place!!!
