AVOID - rude rude rude rude
Yes it’s 250 a night but you’re sleeping in a bunker-esque environment.
I spent a week on the island, if you’re looking for budget you can go to sunset camping or one love camping for half the price.
If you can spare a bit more the other hostels such as Tribu are far superior and you don’t have to put up with an unhappy and unpleasant individual. Fix your attitude Pedro!

I'm not picky, but this was no bueno
I don't know what hostel standards are to even be posted on hostel world or booking.com, but this should not have made the cut.
This is a little concrete 1 floor house with literally beds (which are right there as you walk inside / doors kept open all day for airflow - aka no reception area or common area - NADA! People walking by the hostel will literally see you in your bed off the street).
There are also some run down small lockers, a tiny kitchen and a mini backyard with a picnic table. Oh, and the wifi did not work at all. It was scorching hot and lots of ants in the bathroom. And for that I was shocked that the price was so high... Yes it is Holbox but after walking around and finding something 20x better for a cheaper price, I felt really ripped off. So if you just literally need a bed, go for it, but if you want a hostel vibe and to meet people or have some degree of privacy or comfort, this is not it.
Do yourselves a favor, enjoy holbox and set your standards a bit higher. Even it everything is booked up online I would still not book this place and just show up and ask around. 2 nights/3 days is enough there to enjoy the best beaches I have seen in Mexico so far, so just plan for a slightly higher budget and have fun.
For cheap food wait for the night taco stands to come out in the square :).
