Great Place in a small but lively farm town!

This is actually one of the better places I stayed on a recent trip through east central Mexico. It's directly opposite the bus station, but the hotel rooms are back away from the street. Wonderfully quiet (a rarity in Mexico!). Clean, safe, big pillows, friendly staff...all for U.S. $25-ish (for a single). Of course the downside is the town itself - not on the tourist trail and offering only a day or so of good things to do. Having said that, more foreigners should want to visit Humantla (famous for its mid-August fair and bull running, like Pomplona in Spain - quite a regional celebration for Mexicans). There are three small museums here, of puppets, bullfighters (the best one), and of the town's history. A couple of churches worth visiting. It's fun to walk the streets of a smaller city where foreigners are something of a novelty. Very safe, friendly town and hotel. Not far away is hiking around the dormant volcano La Malinche, though I did not look into this. Got to endorse such a fine family-run hotel like this, though.

Bad administrative experience.

Dear,
I will not talk about the hotel because it is generally a pleasant stay.
He spoke of the administrative staff who charged us - as it was new the receptionist - doubled us. It was not the problem that it was new because we supported him in putting the paper of the terminal and we were patient because he did not know. It was from the manager and accountant that since we lost the ticket he did not want to make the return, but we sent him the bank statement.
Three days after requesting the return the boy who attended us, no longer worked there, and with all the kindness I pass the contact of the manager himself who could not solve and was always in favor of not supporting. They keep 2580 pesos, I remind you! Unfairly they keep them!
