A series of disappointments.

We leave the main road and take a rather bumpy track to the hotel whose entrance has no particular sign, but our driver parks: we are there... It is the full jungle (so they say, here), and it does not take long to realize that we are in a place that suffers badly from maintenance: dilapidation everywhere, at all levels. The welcome is friendly. Our circular pavilion is pretty, vast, RAS on the bathroom... We'll put our bags down and explore the surroundings. We climb to the viewpoint where we can see when we tiptoe high, the pyramid of Chichen Itza. Once again everything is dilapidated, freshened including alleys overgrown with weeds, not at all neat... There seem to be few guests and indeed, at dinner, good by the way, we learn that only 3 rooms are occupied. Isolation ? early season...laborious ??
The surprise comes the next morning: no water neither in the toilet, nor in the shower, nor in the sinks!!! We have a rather ordinary breakfast and leave the hotel while an employee works to restore the water.
This place could be heavenly, it has a very nice and bucolic location, unfortunately this is not the effect felt because it is extremely neglected on all points, it seems abandoned.

The worst experience in Mexico

The worst hotel of a 20-day trip between Guatemala and Mexico.
We arrived in the evening and there was no electricity. The air conditioning didn't work. There was no staff available to help us, and no one did anything.
The humidity stained the walls and courtains. The roofs were cracked, with plastic covering the holes. The pool loungers (only four in a 20-room hotel) had rotten wood. The windows didn't close, with rotten or broken wood frames.
The pool was dirty, full of insects, and the edge was broken. The electrical appliances were dilapidated with a risk of electric shock.
Even unsophisticated travelers like us had a hard time staying a night. No refund from the hotel. No response to our complaints. Total indifference and zero customer service.
Better a cheap camping!

Hopeless...

Arrived, no one there, our reservation was not found, although paid. Reception run down, toilets there disgusting, didn't bode well. So it was: Pools hideous, surroundings unkempt, restaurants closed, not even water was available. Then the room key didn't fit. Enough: we left again!

Don't even think about it!

We had the worst experience ever! On the first night this place didn't have electricity, water nor towels. The cabins are full of spider webs,mold,tarantula,snakes,spiders, roaches inside the cabin. I understand outside of the cabins but inside no thank you.

Declining hotel without commitment to the environment

We stayed two nights at the hotel, had already stayed here before and had no problems, I returned after three years and found the hotel in decline. Many of the facilities lack maintenance, sell you the idea of being in the middle of the jungle surrounded by nature, but they have 0 commitment to the environment, you find trash throughout the jungle around the hotel and do not seem to do any recycling or waste management, they have few employees (although all of them do, very helpful, charismatic and polite). The shower without hot water, the rooms do not have wifi (which makes me unjustifiable existing Starlink nowadays with the rates that the hotel manages), we were put in the next room a family with a dog that did not stop barking all night, one of the two pools was dirty, they burn leaves instead of making compost.
