Nice but maybe not the best fit for non-campers

I would rate this as 'good', between 'average' and 'very good' in the bubbles above. We got a chalet for a family of 4 including a senior.
Negatives: We are not the camping sort, so were not used to crossing a parking lot with our toiletteries bag, clothes, towels and coins to use the coin-operated shared showers. The toilets are also shared, in the same building. The chalet was clean and bright, but cramped and extremely basic, with no facilities except for a fridge, a single hotplate and a tea kettle. You have to pick up kitchen supplies at the front desk, and inevitably we kept forgetting things and walking back and forth. We rented the towels and purchased disposable bed linen which came out to about a quarter of the price of the chalet. If you stay in this type of accommodation regularly, definitely bring your own things. The mattresses were comfortable, though I had trouble climbing up and down the top bunk, being middle-aged. There weren't enough hooks or shelf space, and the table is tiny.
Positives: The best thing about this place is the stunning waterfall just behind the cottages. There was a very pleasant family vibe, with kids frolicking in the play area and people sitting on their little front porches and outside their campervans in the evening. Quiet time was respected by all. The shared facilities were spotlessly clean and well maintained. The check-in staff were friendly and responsive. There is a lovely walk up to the top of the falls that is not difficult even for older folks. And importantly, it was the cheapest accommodation we found in that area.

touristically heavily frequented place

One thing first: the location is fantastic! Unfortunately, this leads to tourists constantly rushing to the waterfall. They'll be carted off with buses at 8 a.m. Unfortunately, some of them do not stick to the distance from the campers communicated with signs and even walk around between the tents. For campers there is a separate area beyond the small stream that comes from the waterfall. The sanitary facilities can also be found there. In our visiting hours, it was quite crowded in the washrooms.
The pricing was also quite hefty; we had to incl. Pay electricity 600 Nkr.
Snacks such as ice cream are also sold in the gift shop.
Despite everything, it was an experience and the night was influenced by the waterfall as expected, but new campers arriving in the dark made much more noise.

Good

Beautiful place, we stay in Van, x one night, access to all necessary amenities x camper, watch out for showers go with coins , I recommend not turning off the water otherwise you have to add more coin or stay soapy. The waterfall very close makes a lot of noise all night. It's up to you, we're going north

Special location.

Special location next to a waterfall! The houses are very clean and tidy. The communal sanitary facilities too. Many buses with tourists come to the waterfall, but they are not allowed to enter the campsite. Early in the morning and late at night you have the waterfall to yourself.

Clean, economic and beautiful stay

We stayed here in July 2021 for two nights (group of 9 including children split into two cabins).
The location is about 5 minutes walk from the Tvinno bus stop. There is very limited bus connectivity to this place, so you need to plan your travel accordingly if you are using public transport like us.
The bathroom and toilets are outside and in common area. You need to carry 10 Krone coins to use the shower where the water will come for 4 minutes, which was sufficient for most of us. There is no charge to use the toilet if you have already paid for the cabin or camping. (They provide you a code to unlock the toilet door.)
There is a small shop which is also the reception. You can get some fast food items and something hot to drink (e.g. coffee) along with option to buy soviniers.
This is also the place where you can make the room payments (if booking via booking.com). This is also where you can ask for the free WiFi password (the signal is not good near the reception, but better at the actual cabins (speeds around 5 Mbps when it works). The mobile signal is also OK though not as strong as in big cities.
The main attraction is the private waterfall which is accessible from this property. It is possible to just climb up the stones and get very close to the waterfall.
It gets colder at night and there are some mosquitos as well though not too many for such a location.
It is also possible to pitch a tent there or bring your caravan there. Check the website for rates.
