Great stay over

I was on a business trip and Soeteweide North B&B was a great stop. They have a lovely heated pool and they also let me use their braai facility, got to say I felt quite comfortable there

The property was well maintained, but small. The rooms were very very small. We had 2 adults and 2 suitcases and there was barely room for 2 grown adults to walk around. The property also advertises there is access to a gym. That is untrue. There is not a gym at the property. They do not have a partnership with the gym in town either. The property offered breakfast and it was fair. The breakfast staff was very nice though. The room was clean though. It was also in a nice area.

Overbooked

I have no review to give because we didn't end up staying here. We made the booking for this place on booking.com. When we arrived to check in we were told that the room had been double booked and we had to find another place to stay. Booking.com was very helpful in sorting us out in a different hotel. However, that didn't stop Soeteweide North B&B + Spa from calling us multiple times to ask when we were checking in (even though we were sent away on the day we were supposed to check in), emailing us multiple times to remind us to check in and then to remind us to rate our stay. I understand this stuff happens (the double booking) but to be persistently contacted after being sent away just comes across as being very unorganized.

Beautiful surroundings

Thank you for an enjoyable stay. We had a late check-in, with a friendly stafff member, who carefully explained the necessary details.
All staff were attentive and pleasant. Our room was well-serviced and on-point. Thank you!
One suggestion: please revise the breakfast options (selection of eggs preparation, e.g. omellettes); add orange juice and remove the syrupy juice.

Worst stay

Not at all what is advertised. Dirty, tv not working, furniture way past due, tap broken, not secure. Spa???????
