This hotel was super affordable, but also super dated. Definitely a no-frills experience. They do not offer luggage storage which was the only service I would have wanted. It’s clean and safe, but definitely feels like it’s stuck in another decade and the hallway smelled. Otherwise I found it to be a good location for the winter festival with easy access to nightlife.

Expensive and gross

Really gross interior with poor upkeep. The ceilings were peeling, the bathroom had a weird smell, and the room was dark and grungy. To make it worse we paid $330 for the night for a triple twin non smoking room. For that amount of money it’s like robbery but there were almost no hotels available in Asahikawa. This place badly needs repair but I guess they’re the ones that survived the purge post Covid.

Room was ok. Scruffy (wallpaper hanging off, funny smell etc) but I'm not too bothered about that.
The email I received after booking said the front desk was open 6:30 til 22:00. When I arrived at lunch to leave my baggage before check-in (and I emailed ahead to check it was ok) there was nobody there, and no sign saying when someone would be back. I waited around 45mins before eventually going and finding the cleaners who were helpful.
I didn't bother trying to leave my bags after checking out. 7am and once again nobody on reception.

The property is very old and the room is dilapidated and smell. The site mentioned there is onsen but there is no onsen available in the property. Very disappointing and we won’t recommend to others.
