I had a wonderful stay here. The room was incredibly clean and comfortable. Location was handy but tucked in a quieter corner of Kamakura. Breakfast was tasty and staff were friendly and helpful. Will look forward to returning soon.

Kamakura Seizan was a beautiful peaceful place to stay. Its location cannot be beat as it was very close to the train station. There were several shops close by including the famous Komachidori, a shopping avenue of Japanese crafts and souvenirs as well as many places to eat.

A modern, simple and linear structure

Hotel with a clean and linear design. Reception and professionalism by the very courteous staff. The large and well furnished lobby, with a part dedicated to the sale of handicrafts. The spacious and well-appointed rooms are without TV and have a toilet in separate room. The breakfast was not served buffet style but on a single portion tray, it was certainly not the most consistent and varied: although tasty, it was composed only of savory dishes and no sweets.

Great little hotel

Funny enough this 3 star hotel was the best hotel we stayed at on our 2 week trip to Japan this time including 4 and 5 star hotels like the Royal Park chain hotel. This stylish and minimalistic style hotel is well located in Kamakura, has amazing beds and pillows, the best I have seen in hotels across the globe, and is very quiet as well. True that it could do with perhaps an extra comfortable chair or so in the room but to be fair we didn’t come to Japan to see in our hotel bedroom so for us, we valued comfortable beds, clean rooms and quietness. The breakfast is not the typical buffet, they will offer you 3 choices of interesting food such as a pumpkin soup, or a Japanese curry or so but if you ask them they may provide you with bred and jam which they have done for us. The breakfast isn’t the best part but I was happy enough to go have my coffee in front of the hotel in that little coffee shop that does amazing coffee and get a pastry in one of the many places Kamakura has to offer. All in all I have really enjoy this hotel and recommend it to anyone
