We were well looked after

This friendly hotel in Kitakata is a prize. Cozy, comfortable, well located close to the train station.
The hotel room had all ameneties, anticipating our every need.
The staff was exceptional. We were happy to try out our Japanese and they were happy to accomodate, also trying to converse in English.
We look forward to visiting our new friends at The Garden Hotel next time we are in Kitakata.
Thank you all for making us feel comfortable.

ホテル入り口は2階、部屋は狭い

駅から歩いて5分程。建物の入口は2階、荷物を持って階段を上がります。フロントの係の方は皆愛想がよいです。部屋に入ると、地方のホテルにしては狭い。周囲にお店はあまりありません。駅構内の売店か、駅と逆の方向に徒歩約10分のセブンイレブンかです。

駅からほど近いビジネスホテル

朝食付きです、シングル、6400円でした。
大浴場はありませんが、シンプルなお部屋で、アメニティも完備。ホテルの方は親切です。喜多方駅そばに、新鮮野菜、果物を販売しているお店まではお散歩しつつ行かれてはいかがでしょう。あと、朝ごはんは、8:30までとちょっと早いのが難点。生卵、海苔、ふりかけも付いてます。

さわれないピアノ

1階からフロントのある2階へは階段です。ドアを開けると美味しんぼのおいてある本棚と触れないピアノがあります。ホームページではパソコンがあると紹介されていますが気づきませんでした。フロントにドリップコーヒーの袋、緑茶・紅茶の袋が置いてあります。エレベータ付近に福島民友があります。部屋は玄関から先が板でスリッパに履き替えるようになってます。冷蔵庫あり。机上にミネラルウオータがあります。椅子の背後はベッドで大きくあとずさりできません。湯沸しと緑茶のテイーバッグ。朝はロビーに福島民報・読売新聞・スポーツ報知が置いてあります。前夜は目撃しませんでした。自転車は3時間程度の利用。

ホッとできる居心地の良さがありました

喜多方駅近辺でホテルが少なく、こちらを選びました。
あまり期待していなかったのですが結果としてはこちらにして良かったです。
＜良かった点＞
部屋の床。写真でもわかる通り全室無垢の木のフローリング。
時期的に冷たくないのか？と思ったりもしたのですが、心配無用でした。
スリッパがありましたが、素足の方が木のぬくもりが感じられ癒されます。
部屋も木目調でシンプル。
細やかな心配りというか気の使い方をしていると感じたのは
トイレのウォシュレットの注意書。
冬場に最初冷たい水が出てくるのでそれを避けるための注意書が貼ってありました。
フロントには「ご自由に」とドリップ式のコーヒーも置いてあります。
エレベーターホールには貸出し用の加湿器などもあります。
朝食も卵、のり、サラダ、牛乳、オレンジジュースは「ご自由に」
それ以外は席に和定食を運んでくれます。
とても美味しかったです。
朝食場所にはペレットストーブ。
雰囲気もとても良く、気持ちまで暖かくなりました。
＜残念だった点＞
出入口が2階なので階段を上がる必要がある。
荷物が大きい方は少し大変かもしれないです。
周辺にコンビニはありません。喜多方の立地で仕方ない事のようです。
全体的にはとてもホッとできる心地のいいホテルでした。
