The quality and variety of buffet breakfast and dinner served was very good. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Within the hotel property everything looks like they have seen better days.

Reasonable hotel with good springs

It is a bit away from the spa town, but I wanted to relax in the hot springs at a reasonable price, so I stayed there. The quality of the springs contained radon, which was good. However, the floor of the inner bath felt more slippery than the hotel I had stayed in before. Also, the open-air bath seemed a little hot for the summer. It is an old hotel that opened in the Showa era, so the rooms were reasonable, but there was nothing particularly concerning, such as cleaning. There are a number of dishes to choose from, and I think the seasoning is good. The kamameshi and various delicacies were good. I don't think there's a problem with the staff. It was a bit inconvenient because there was no permanent hair dryer in the room and there was only one key. I think it's a good place to spend a relaxing time in the hotel at a reasonable price.

The hotel is quite old (guess built in 90's and never renovated) but generally clean and tidy, our room has nice view to the nearby river and housing.
Our package includes dinner and breakfast (both in buffet style), local family style but not very special. The hotel is provided with a shared hot spring, and many local visitors have the meals wearing Japanese bathing clothes provided by the hotel, the good vibe makes me feel like staying a local family house.
The souvenir shop in the hotel has a lot of products, opens until 9pm so you can still visit it after dinner or hot spring, the prices are same as you can get outside the hotel.
