Noise from the outside was incredible loud, in spite of the multiple layers of windows/panels.
However, the a/c worked well, and the bed was sufficiently comfortable.

Receptionist was very friendly, recommending places to eat and things to do. Room was clean. The washing machine is free to use. Bed was very soft and comfortable. Location is about 15-20 mins walk from nagano station. And about 10 mins walk to zenkoji temple, you can wake up early and walk to see the early morning prayer that occurs at sunrise.

立地がいい

繁華街にあるので食事に出掛けるのに困りません。
系列のお店で食事をすると料金を割引してもらえます。
アメニティは歯ブラシのみ、必要な方はフロントでひげ剃りをもらうシステムのようで、シンプルですが十分です。
全ての部屋ではないだろうと思いたい点が2つ。
バスルームのバスタブのお湯を抜いたら、トイレ側に逆流して床が水浸しになりました。部屋には漏れなかったのでいいのですが、気になりました。
隣の部屋の人のいびきとクシャミ、歯ぎしり、
それと夜中にバスルームで歌ってる声が聞こえて、あまりよく眠れませんでした。
古いこともあって壁が薄いのかもしれません。
カプセルホテルみたいなものだと思えばいいのかも…

フロントマンが最高

宿泊を希望していた長野駅から徒歩圏のホテルがどこも満室だったので、唯一空室が残っていたこちらで予約させて頂きました。
評価もそこそこ、価格も格安、長野市一の老舗ホテルとの事で、全く期待せずに宿泊しましたが、良い意味で裏切られました。
他の方の口コミにも登場されていますが、ご年配のフロントマンOさんがとにかく最高で、大ファンになりました。
チェックインの時の気の利いた会話、色々な事を経験しつくしたであろう落ち着いた対応、柔和な笑顔と話し方。
チェックアウトの時も、こちらの立場にたって優しく送り出して下さったおかげで、とても気持ち良く一日をスタートできました。
ホテルやまのHPに「ホッとして頂けるさりげないひと言、きめの細かい気配り、静かで快適な客室をご用意して、お客様が心暖まる一夜をお過ごしになり、朝気持ち良く出発して頂けるホテルであることを、私たちは常に心がけています。」とあります。
「静かで快適」の部分はちょっと違うかもと思いましたが(笑)、他は本当にその通りで、心温まる滞在となりました。
施設は昭和の歴史を感じ、広くもなく、音も静かとはいえませんでしたが、それを補って余りある魅力的なフロントマンさんとコストパフォーマンスで、また長野に行く際には、ぜひ宿泊させて頂きたいと思いました。
