Hotel R hommachi

A simply impeccable service, as often in Japan. The staff is helpful, friendly, kind and exemplaryly honest.
The hotel is located in a lively area, with the subway right next door and many shops within walking distance, which is really convenient.
The bathroom is very well equipped, and so is the bedroom: there is absolutely everything. They even thought of details that you might not see elsewhere: slippers, toothbrush, razor, shoe brush, hairbrush footwear and even the umbrella nothing is missing.
Unlimited coffee is a real plus, it’s just amazing.
Frankly, the right word is: comfort and quality of service far exceed our expectations. When I compare with some hotels in France at €80 a night, it’s almost shameful. Here I paid about 60€, and the difference is just crazy.
I recommend without hesitation

A nice, quiet, and compact hotel for a short stay. Convenient location. Unfortunately, the window faced directly into the wall of the neighboring building and couldn’t be fully opened to quickly let in fresh air. Other than that, everything was excellent

The hotel and the room are newly furnished and clean overall. There are convenience stores along the way walking from the nearest metro station (Sakaisuji Honmachi or Nagahoribashi). However, both stations are not on the Midosuji line. So, transfers are needed when going to and from Shinsaibashi, Umeda and Namba etc. Transfers in Osaka metro are more inconvenient and troublesome than I expected. Although you can also arrive at the hotel from the Honmachi station, it requires a longer walk (about 15-min) than Sakaisuji Honmachi and Nagahoribashi (about 7-min).
For me, next time I would choose a hotel near to the station which is on the Midosuji line. So that, less transfers and walking up-and-down stairs in the metro after travelling a long day.
