女将さんがとても暖かく迎えてくださり、料理も最高に美味しかったです。お米が高い昨今に美味しくいただき感謝です。このお宿は100年の歴史があるそうで
確かに古い建物ではありますが、長年お寺や神社にお参りする方々が疲れを癒されておられたと思うと感慨深くなりました。なので、日本の歴史を知らないような外国人は利用しないでください。
こういう宿こそ残していかないといけないと思います。
朝の勤行にも参加でき、心が洗われたひとときでした。ご縁に感謝です。

ランチタイムは多くの人で賑わっておりました

近鉄長谷寺駅から徒歩15分、長谷寺の門前町中ほどに旅館「大和屋」があります。牡丹の見ごろも終わりに近い5月の連休中に長谷寺に参拝。帰りに門前町中ほどにある旅館の食堂にランチに寄りました。にゅう麺付きのうなぎ定食がなんと１，５５０円が本日２００円引き１，３５０円となっていました。胡麻豆腐に山菜煮物も付いておりましてビール（中ビン５５０円）のおつまみにもなりました。うなぎは煮鰻でそれなりでしたが値段が値段ですからね、こんなものでしょう。

門前の宿でランチ

お店の前を歩いていたら勧誘されたので入ってみました。たけのこご飯付きそうめんを定食で。セットより300円アップになりますが、野菜の炊き合わせと小さいですが鮎の甘露煮が付きます。普通に美味しいといった感じでしたが、野菜の炊き合わせとそうめんに入っていた卵焼きは特によかったです。旅館のようですが、昼間はランチの提供を行っているようです。気軽にその地方の味わいも感じられてよかったです。

食堂を兼ねた昔風の良き旅館

長谷寺に１番近い宿。建物は古いですがよく管理されていました。夫婦で宿泊しました。部屋の入口は襖ですが、内側から鍵が掛けられますから安心です。食事は地鶏のすき焼き風鍋が大変おいしかったです。量的には食べきれず残してしまいました。お風呂は２・３人ではいれる綺麗なお風呂です。トイレはウオシュレットで綺麗です。また宿泊したい宿です。

おかみさんが親切

門前町の旅館・食堂らしく、おかみさんが上品に客引きしていました。
その上手さにつられて入りましたが、入って正解でした。
ウナギの定食は美味しいし、景色はいいしで、最高でした。
