My stay was very comfortable. The staff was nice and the ammenities are also great. The staff kept my frozen food until the day of my departure which was nice. The lobby looks really presentable and the dinner wasn't bad. Lots of different crabs available as well as ramen, shabu shabu, desserts and a lot more. For the cost of what I paid, it is definitely worth it. The room is a standard room and a bit old but it is clean and well maintained. It was just hot that night but I asked for a fan and they provided one which helped. Overall, a great hotel to stay in. Plus the Limousine Bus to the airport is literally across the hotel so that made it very convenient on my last day in Sapporo.

Hotel itself alittle old but rooms are spacious and next to shopping street. Walking distance to Susukino and Odori park. Breakfast was sumptuous, alot of sashimi. Staff are friendly too. The bus to airport is just across the hotel. Overall we're glad we chose ABest Hotel over a newer one in Susukino due to overall comparison.

Everything You Need, Right Outside the Door

Abest Hotel is extremely convenient, especially for travelers who love accessibility. It’s located right inside Tanukikoji Shopping Arcade, making souvenir shopping effortless. Mega Don Quijote is only a 5–10 minute walk away, and there’s a FamilyMart directly attached to the hotel—which is a huge plus. Across the road, you’ll find the Airport Limousine Bus stop, making transfers to New Chitose Airport very easy.
Breakfast was a highlight. The spread includes sushi and salmon sashimi rice bowls. I especially loved the French toast paired with Greek yogurt, Hokkaido haskap sauce, and a drizzle of honey—simple but memorable.
The staff are friendly and very helpful. For stays of four days or more, you can request housekeeping through the reception. Fresh towels and trash collection are available daily—just leave them outside your room door.
The room heating is well-controlled, with adjustable temperature levels, which is great during winter. One thing to note: the hotel still uses an analog key instead of a key card, so it’s best to manage expectations there.
Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its location, comfort, and value.

It was a convenient location and I was comfortable.

It is conveniently located in Tanukikoji 6-chome, with a bus stop for New Chitose Airport across the road and a FamilyMart on the ground floor. I was a former Sunrouter and stayed three nights in a row. Amenities will be taken from the lobby. From 16:00 to 20:00, one free alcoholic drink and all-you-can-drink soft drinks. The fridge was too small to fit in, so I left the fridge, the freezer and went to get what I needed each time. Located on Electronic Tanukikoji 6-chome, the bus stop for New Chitose Airport is across the road, the convenient range with FamilyMart on the ground floor is on each floor, and the ice machine and laundromat are on even floors. I was comfortable.

I liked that the Hotel Abest was very conveniently located and I could take the bus to the airport from there, purchasing the ticket at the hotel. The staff of the hotel was extremely helpful and nice. The temperature in the room was perfect.
